Re: PS: eCheck Discussion Thread

I live in an anti-online poker state. When the first fiasco of echecks happened, I was no longer able to use echecks as a cashout option.

FWIW, went to cashout a minute ago (Sept. 16)...echecks were operational for me.

Will update to see if it actually goes through.

BAM!

The cashout is successfully in my bank account today. I'm quite surprised. Thank you - again - PokerStars for great service.

Quick stars cashout question

Hi,

I haven't played online for a while, but I remember a while back there was some uncertainty about using e-checks to cashout and a lot of people were doing bank wires instead. Can someone confirm all that is over now and that e-checks are fine again? Thanks! (my bank charges % for receiving wire xfers so I'd like to avoid it if possible)

It's nice while it lasts but next year it will probably be all paper check or bank wires for Americans.

Re: PS: eCheck Discussion Thread

I just recently started to play alot more on stars and about to make a cashout via eCheck option. Is there a "request" period and a "approved" period like they do on Full Tilt?

Also, what is the difference between Wire Transfer and eCheck on pokerstars besides the cashout limit? From what I've read, Wire Transfer has close to a $50 fee.

I will put a followup on my cashout status once I initiate and receive it.

In the post above, I was wondering what the difference between Wire Transfer and eCheck on pokerstars besides the cashout limit. From what I've read, Wire Transfer has a fee around $50.
