Hi,
I believe the majority consensus is that shortstackers are bad for poker; for all customers not shortstackers. Rival companies have already implemented or will implement a solution to this problem. I hope others will also offer up alternative solutions, but I believe that these are the easiest solutions.
Here are some of the solutions presented:
1) Raise the ratholing time limit.
This is no different than almost all casino's rules. If you get up at one table, you must rebuy for the same amount at another table.
2) Raise the minimum buyin to >40BB+
Again, higher end casinos tend to have 50BB table minimums or even 100BB minimums.
3) Create CAP tables like on Full Tilt. This way shortstackers can play the game how they like, with a short stack.

While FTP has merely acknowledged the problem and said that a solution is coming, this is at least a step towards progression to cater to customer's requests. I am very interested in hearing what a Pokerstars representative has to say about this matter.
