Actually it was more like 1918. Yes the USA was better off economically. They had to be since the only attack they suffered was Pearl Harbor. The war never reached their soil. Eurasia on the other hand was the main battleground in two world wars. I dont think that education wise the USA has been that great.

Steve, its pretty clear you guys are getting rid of the ugly Pokerstars.net text on clothing merchandise lately which is good, but what about the sports jacket and jacket with patches? replace the text with just the spade and you will probably 10 fold your sales.

How are the playing cards?
Has anybody ordered them?

Any difference between the NAPT/LAPT single decks(950 fpp) vs. the regular 2 deck set(1250fpp) beside size?

I realize these cards are "made" by copag.
But are they identical in quality to the regular copags or are they made specially for stars?

You do realize some people play on Stars for more than just money right? I play to beat people because I am a competitive person and I cannot play sports anymore. The money I win is a bonus, no pun intended. I of course make very good money at my job so I do not have to play to make a living or even to supplement my income (kudos to you guys that do since it is not easy). So yes, some of us would like quality products to use our points on, but to each his own.

Oh +1 on the brides as long as they know their place. I don't want some pushy foreign chick bitching at me all the time. I can get that now from my current wife.

If you keep a clean working enviornment(no dust and debri on your playing surface), they last a long time. I had one set that I thought sucked because the ink wore off and marked the cards. But I come to realize I just had a poor playing area. The next set has lasted a long time with subtle wearing of the ink. I would rate them an 8/10. I think printing the stars logo creates a situation that is going to cause a nit to freak out.

Keep in mind, I don't really know how long they should last. My nit-picking of the wearing is under extensive, everyday usage. The two deck set comes with some badass cut cards. Playing on well-kept felt that is clean is going to be optimal. Playing on a hard top coffee table is going to piss you off.

Oh good god yes. I have asked numerous times to get newegg or NCIX.com gift certificates instead of the existing ones, that would eat up all my FPPs if they made the switch. Please consider this Stars. In Canada the only option is Futureshop cards which take > 1 month to arrive and the store isn't any good to begin with.

super small, if you wear a large get at least an xl

I ordered one when it first came out... Its pretty cool... Its "Limited Edition" so it may not come back..

i ordered an xl and it's pretty small even for a standard large. wish i ordered a xxl.
