Just add deep tables and then when people complain about short stackers u can send them a email saying:

Hello ILIKPRETEENS,

Thank you for writing to us.

We understand your concern about short-stackers buying in for 20bb in the NL games. Please shut your ****ing trap and go play the NL DEEP tables instead you whiny little bitch.

If you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us
again.

Regards,

Rufus

Make card backs a bright, patterned design that will stand out against the black cyber-felt.

you can change the color of the cards on whatever table you are on.

Indeed you can, but it is very annoying the client auto-updates user modified cardback.bmp (or whatever the correct name is).

On the deck "simple" your choices are between several different grays, with the default table having a gray background also

Bright card backs on the simple deck is an excellent suggestion. I never used the simple deck until I learned how to mod card backs and get around the updates because they are totally camouflaged. It amazes me that they're still that way after a year and a half or whatever it's been.

even better, have a pop-up of changes when pokerstarsupdate.exe finds an update - and give us the option to upgrade or decline.

Of course this would be useless unless image mods are disregarded when checking for a potential update.

As has been said before:
Give us an option like on UB to 'do not show me this announcement again'.

It's ridiculous that I have to get warned AND hit 'ok' every single time I join a no all-in or fast table or whatever. I know what I'm doing. I get it.
It's even more ridiciulous that I have to click 'ok' after I rebuy in a hand to top off my stack or something. YES....I really really really do understand that I get that money for the NEXT hand and that I can't just add to my stack in the middle of this hand.
Do I really have to click 'ok' for the 8-illionth time.

Would be okay if the pop-up announcement just disappeared on its own or something.
Still stupid...but at least it wouldn't require extra clicks.
But it's a non-stop barrage of "This table is a fast-table. Click OK if you understand that" and "Your chips will be added AFTER this hand. Click OK if you aren't ******ed and you understand that."

I even understand why Stars would want to have these disclaimers for new players who might not understand what is going on. But all the okays are freaking awful.
That's why you should give me the check-box option to NEVER see that announcement again like on UB or some other sites.

Yeah, I know there's some AHK stuff for that.

But it's such a simple check-box thing that I've seen on other sites that I think Stars should be taking care of this one themselves.

- this is minor but if a player leaves HU you can't click on the hand history to find out what happened in the last hand.

- sit out next BIG blind obviously

- ratholing time limit = 1 hour

im for showing holecards for allins.

I thought traditionally you didn't show hole cards in all ins. I mean you both don't show hole cards at a regular show down, what difference does it make if one person involved in the hand doesn't have any money left? I thought the "show all cards during an all in" was added for TV tournaments. IIRC, the WSOP didn't do it until sometime in the late 90s.

What about putting the name and buy in of the tourney in the table window
like "Tournament 76620047 Table 2, $27 turbo sng - no limit holdem..." or "Tournament 76620047 Table 12, $11R 45k - no limit holdem...", no just the tourney #, because when you multitable you have to go to the lobby to see what toruney you are playing, also you can put this info in the HH

talking about HH, why not putting when you rebuy or addon in the HH ? like in the chat windows, then we can track how many rebuys or addon we make

I don't understand the argument of not showing cards at showdown to protect the fishes. IMO a FISH plays the game for fun and the thrill of it. A fish LIKES to go all-in. They like to see the showdowns.... If it really scares the fish away, then why are all the other sites that do show full of fish?

i agree with all the stuff about showing what's in an update and getting rid of all of the ok's.

also an option to not show games in the lobby that i'm already in.

and a way to tell from the lobby that the one person at a table is actually sitting out.

Add a built-in HUD, so everyone is on a level playing field. Either that or don't allow any at all.
