Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

I know this isnt a software issue but can you the max rake at normal tables while playing heads up be changed to $.50? I like to start up new tables all the time while playing other full tables and get a lot of hu/shorthanded in but on stars the max rake is $1 while playing hu and FTP is only $.50 so thats a huge incentive for me to play only at FTP while I do this.

This would be especially useful for games that don't have HU tables.

I'd also like it if the tourney filter had a box for only seeing turbos, as well as for not seeing them. I know I can do it in text, but it's something I want to turn on and off a lot, so a box would be nice.

Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

This possibly doesn't belong here but nonetheless I wonder if there's room for discussion regarding pokerstars compiling a tax report for players filing taxes much like a broker sends for capital gains, a bank sends for interest earned, and as an employer sends their employees for wages earned. Of course this is not required of them and the tax rules very from country to country so it would require a lot of work that I'd rather see returned to the players in promos, VIP specials, security enhancements, and better software but eventually if online poker gets regulated in the US it's something that may be required of them down the road anyway.

Just starting the conversation. Sorry if this idea offends anyone.

Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

Sent this email to support tonight asking for more timebank in HU games:

I think you need to replenish the time bank quicker in 'fast' HU games as opposed to 'fast' ring games. First of all, if you play HU, the vast majority of the tables are 'fast' tables so they are difficult to avoid. Secondly, in heads-up, each player is involved in so many more pots and has so many more difficult decisions. It only seems logical that more time should be given in the time-bank (or the time bank should be replenished faster) because players are going to need to use it alot more often then they do in ring games. 8 seconds is just not enough time to make tough decisions.

Lastly, i think you need some sort of indicater or warning when the player is out of time bank. I was in a big pot today (out of timebank obviously) thinking about what to do and assuming the timebank would kick in. I was probably going to call but instead my hand was folded when my 8 seconds was up. This was frustrating needless to say (especially when my opponent showed a bluff)...I eventually had to quit this game because i didn't want to have to make my tough decisions in 8 seconds. Right now, i'm typing this email instead of paying pokerstars rake

It seems weird to me that normal tables are not offered heads up given the more frequent need for time before making decisions. I play mostly 6-max (mostly 'fast' tables) and the timebank never ever seems to cause me problems. HU i seem to be out of timebank all the time. I know i'm not the only one...

Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

Things I'd like to see on Stars....

1. Auto reload.

2. "New table" option windows to stop overriding the action on other tables- the amount of times I've gone to click call/raise/fold only to be blocked by a new table trying to open. It should be queued like any other action pending

3. Should you happen to time out of one table, the software should be able to detect that you have other tables active (and therefore still playing, seated at your pc and not buggered off somewhere) and either sit you back in, or produce a prompt that alerts you you've timed out at that particular table, rather than finding out you've been stood up because you hadn't noticed that table 3 out of the 24 you're playing on got timed out 15 minutes ago.

4. A "global" sit out next hand/next blind button.

5. Can't think of a 5, but I'm sure there was one.

Yes, I know some of these suggestions can be fixed with an AHK script, but having said that, there should be no reason why these are not incorporated into the software itself.

Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

Ah yes, number 5.

5. To highlight in red or green or something all tables in the lobby list that you are sitting at. When you have loads of other tables open and are trying to find a new table to add, I'll find a table I like the look of and go to add myself only to have the menu hide itself and the table pop up showing I'm already on it. Wading through the player list takes too long, especially when you have action happening on active tables and the table list fluctuating as fast as it does.

Please don't do this. In general, please don't do anything to make life easier for people who time out a lot. Fast games = good games.

Well at least some sort of notification that you've timed out. At the very least you're occupying a seat that's offering up no action for 10-15 minutes, which isn't good for the game.

If there's someone on the waitlist, they'll get booted before that long. Which is exactly what should happen. If anything, they ought to reduce the boot time.
