Sent this email to support tonight asking for more timebank in HU games:
I think you need to replenish the time bank quicker in 'fast' HU games as opposed to 'fast' ring games. First of all, if you play HU, the vast majority of the tables are 'fast' tables so they are difficult to avoid. Secondly, in heads-up, each player is involved in so many more pots and has so many more difficult decisions. It only seems logical that more time should be given in the time-bank (or the time bank should be replenished faster) because players are going to need to use it alot more often then they do in ring games. 8 seconds is just not enough time to make tough decisions.
Lastly, i think you need some sort of indicater or warning when the player is out of time bank. I was in a big pot today (out of timebank obviously) thinking about what to do and assuming the timebank would kick in. I was probably going to call but instead my hand was folded when my 8 seconds was up. This was frustrating needless to say (especially when my opponent showed a bluff)...I eventually had to quit this game because i didn't want to have to make my tough decisions in 8 seconds. Right now, i'm typing this email instead of paying pokerstars rake
It seems weird to me that normal tables are not offered heads up given the more frequent need for time before making decisions. I play mostly 6-max (mostly 'fast' tables) and the timebank never ever seems to cause me problems. HU i seem to be out of timebank all the time. I know i'm not the only one...
