The cost/reward ratio is just not there for them right now, or they would have done it already. But I agree it would be nice if they figure some less intrusive option for next time this kind of promotion comes around.

I guess a nice way would be to have seperate blocks for popups:
tournaments popups
promotion popups
server & security popups (probably best to be non-blockable)

This was a side effect of other changes made for the milestone promotion. Going forward the messages for milestones will not be sent to players who have blocked tournament announcements. It might take some time to completely implement the change, but effectively immediately you should notice a huge decrease in the number of those messages if you have already blocked tournament announcements.

different times i asked for an implementation of something like that but dont get an answer from pokerstars.
But something like that is very fast and easy implemented without much programming. Optional (X) show tournament type on the felt:

We would like to get more feedback on the animation changes for the "Full (Beta)" setting. Could the players on this setting please PM me any feedback (or post here if you prefer). We are considering making this default for all players who have animation on.

If you are using animation and want to try out the Beta version, simply go to "Options" > "Table Display Options" > "Animation" in the lobby and then select "Full (Beta)". If you don't like the Beta setting, you can always go back to current animation by selecting the "Simplified" setting.

The Beta setting features:
* Increased frame rate
* Alternative animation for flop dealing
* Several other tweaks that aim to improve the overall feel of the animation

this is not exactly software and I have no idea where to post this lol but 2 ideas :

1. when asking for tournament history via email there's a report that's much better than the one I can request via the software (playing history audit) so if it's possible to implement an option for that report in the software would be very nice

2. Tournament Tickets for the 22$ saturday 6max, 27$ KO , 11$ Duel etc would be nice as well as a wider range of tickets in the store overall

Sorry if this isn't in the right place but I need some help with Stars software. I play both cash and now starting SNGs and MTTSNGs. In my hand history folder the cash game hands are there but if I then play an SNG the cash HHs disappear and there is nothing at all for the SNGs.

Under options > hand history options I have the save my hands history checked, keep hand histories for 30 days and language English. Thanks for any help for a computer numpty even if it's to suggest the proper forum to post this.

Should also point out I emailed Stars and the reply I received made it clear they hadn't even read my email, hence I'm asking here.

Maybe if you're "game selecting" and want to play in a particular SNG and not in a random one. Also, I think that if there are multiple open SNGs and I use that option, it registers me to an almost empty one, while I would like to register to the one closest to being full, so I prefer to do it manually.

But they could put a check-box in the options to do this for all SNGs, so that you don't have to use TableNinja.

Does anyone else have problems with the lobby (cash games) at busy times that it doesn't seem to refresh properly when you click on a table? Like you will try to click on a particular table and the table you tried to click has disappeared/moved and this keeps happening over and over.
