If not that, at least make the empty seat boxes look different from the other player boxes, by darkening them or making them a different color.

FTP uses semi-transparent seats, which if colored black, blend into most multi-tablers dark backgrounds.

A solution for the "show both players holecards when allin in a cash game"

You obviously know your hole cards, but on YOUR SCREEN ONLY, it will reveal his cards to you, so you see what you are up against. The other players at the table don't see either of your hands until showdown.

Possible?

The problem is that each little top-up is a database transaction in a heavily used table (cash in/out of players accounts to and from tables). During testing it was discovered that deploying this feature would saturate the database servers with so many tiny top-up transactions that the server would bottleneck -- the database indexes would grow too large to maintain.

If you have a script and are "topping up" via external means, that's fine... but its unlikely that you'll see this built into the PokerStars software as an automatic feature, as nice as it definitely would be.

What about a simple "Rebuy to Maximum" button that will allow us to top-off at any point with only one click?

No,

Just make it like FT and casino. When 2 players are all in, the cards get flipped over.

This is NOT how it is in Casino CASH games.

Ratholers only have to wait 30 minutes before re-joining a table with the minimum buyin.
This is clearly against the code and spirit of the game. You obviously could not do this in a live game repeatedly day in and out without threat of serious bodily injury. Why does stars support unethical behavior?

Timing out last to act should be a check, not a fold
seriously

Dude and I bet you couldn't sit there with complete stats on each of your opponents, and base your decision on them when playing live without getting beat up. In fact many would call this clearly against the spirit of the game. But so many good players benefit from them, that there is no chance it will ever change. Online poker and live poker are different for a ridiculous number of reasons. How can you focus on one reason like the "ratholing" while ignoring all of the huge benefits you get online in other ways.

Despite that I don't even care if they raise it to 60 minutes or something...30 minutes is a bit short, especially for the higher stakes games. IMO the best thing they can do is create a few deep tables, like they did with the 25-50 6 max tables. However it's almost certain these tables won't succeed at the lower limits, as they haven't on any other sites.

Plz to be adding another e-wallet like INSTADEBIT.

Cheques take too long for me to cash in Canada and moneybookers only has 10k/month limit which is rather annoying.

Instadebit would be soooooooooooooooooo nice.

This seems like a great idea. As it is, it's 3 clicks now (4 for that annoying pop-up if you're in the middle of a hand...) which is a pain. I would expect that implementing a 1-click button would increase the number of top-offs, but probably not by enough to strain the server like an automatic option.

Jeff-
but you already have an auto-rebuy function that buys people back in when they bust, to 20BB. Updating this to allow a customizable amount (important for NL games) wouldn't hit that table anymore than it does now, would it?

Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

larger minimum buyins. by far the most frustrating thing is having someone take 20bb from you and running.
