I can has top programming job @ PokerStars now? I don't see any listed on the careers page but I'm sure you can create one for me. I'll need to work out of San Francisco, hope that isn't a problem for you guys.

Please add a filter for the min and max number of players in a SNG. Right now, it is impossible to filter for certain tournaments.

For example, I can't isolate $20 & $30 27 player SNGs.

Thanks.

Kinda wished PS would've added A-5 Draw but I guess it's not as popular.

I have never played it, but hopefully you will enjoy Badugi. Its a blast to play IMO. Its a great action game, espec if you get some people willing to chase. The beats can be somewhat cruel, but that's poker, AFAIK.

multiquote didn't work but you have to make sure that bankroll has enough to cover the top off and if it doesnt, the topoff becomes that amount

1. Thanks so much for posting all this info. Very helpful. Please continue to do this for future updates. A new thread for this (instead of posting in a current one) would be appropriate I think so that more people will see it.

2. Digging the hand-replayer thing. Awesome.

A few other things mentioned in this thread have also been approved and are just awaiting development, such as colour-coded tables in the lobby, 'Don't Show Me Again' for common popups and so on.

OMG and hallelujah on both of these.
Light at the end of the tunnel!!
I'm so glad for both of these (still was having trouble with some of the ahk stuff so I just clicked away all of those pop-ups manually and geez are they annoying).

I think the color coding in the lobby (I assume for 'tables seated at' and 'in waitlist for') will be hugely helpful.

Nice Alex... thanks.

One thing about the hand replayer. I currently use the 'sit in the same seat' option for all the tables, it would be great if that would roll over to the hand replayer as well. The way the current replayer shows it is the default seat arrangement for the table.

i have preferred options set as well. my replayer was same positions as actual game.

maybe that is because my preferred seat happened to be the open seat?? not sure, but i had no probs.

The heads up cash games should be changed so that you can't sit out indefinitely. After filtering to get rid of the full tables, there are usually a ton of tables listed with 1 player that are just someone sitting out. It's annoying opening one table after another trying to find an opponent and getting one absent player after another. When you start your own table, it's hidden in the lobby amongst the other tables of players who are gone making it hard for opponent's looking to play to find your table. Sometimes the lag is so long I'm forced to open up all the tables of players who are sitting out and sit on their table so the table is no longer listed in the lobby. I've also had players sit out on my table out of spite after I've stacked them a couple times and have built up a stack forcing me to leave and start a new table without the big stack. The structure at Full Tilt is much more efficient - you can sit out indefinitely as long as there is no other player at the table waiting to play. If there is one player sitting out and one waiting to play, the player who is sitting out will be kicked off after about a minute.

please move the "return to default size" option below the tile/cascade options on the dropdown menu.

unless you think people try to return to default size more than people try to tile and cascade...

some people have been having problems.
It might be a matter of making sure you are running stars as 'administrator' if you are on vista. Might have gone away from that since the update. Not sure really.

A few people have also had some problems with PT and PAhud but it seems that it's fine for the vast majority of people (otherwise there would be more complaints about it).

I third this! Yarg! How come we can see hole cards when AI in tourneys but not in cash?? Please do this!

John - they do have a reason for this.
It's closer to how it's done in live poker-room cash-games (or at least it was at the time).

In live tournaments it is usually a requirement that you have to turn your cards up in all-in situations like that. In live cash-games you don't although in most places you are allowed to if you want to.
Which is why I would prefer if Stars just gave you the option to turn your cards over if you want. Just have the quick button when the two players are all-in.

I have the auto-muck thing checked in the lobby and it's WAY too much of a pain to try to get into the lobby quick enough to uncheck it on the one hand out of 1000 that I might feel like showing. I'm assuming it's this way for most people too.

I have auto-muck checked because it's faster and I don't want to click "don't show" most of those times. But that doesn't mean I always don't want to show.
Sometimes I do. But Stars essentially won't let me (in a way) because it's way to inconvenient for those of us mega-tabling who only want to show 1% of the time.
So I go from potential 1% to 0% because Stars doesn't really give me the option.

That's for AFTER the hand is finished though. I think it's appropriate to let players have the option to show their hands anytime they want in such all-in situations.

Showing one hole-card either when folding or after you've won the hand and didn't have to show would be a good addition too.
It would make the game far more fun. I think the fish who like to try to psych out their opponents would REALLY get into such a feature.

Want to attract more fish? Make it more fun for the fish. Live-straddling, raise in the dark or check in the dark options and 'show one card' type options would have a chance of accomplishing this I believe.

When I was playing today on one hand I was big blind and instead of normal looking cards my cards had the same look as the folded cards look when you hold your mouse over them. I flopped two pair but was afraid to bet at any point for fear of them not being my actual cards. Probably looked pretty dumb checking my hand down. Only happend once though in like 3k hands.

I'm the same way but every now and then I get the stupid urge that I need to show a hand and in the process of clicking and unclicking I time out of 10 tables and then realize that I am dumb.

In the replayer, where are the notes you can type for an idividual hand stored? Is it written in that handhistory.txt file next to the actual hand text itself? Because that would be dope.

edit: af first glance it appears they arent saved at all and that's a pity.
