Please update the time bank feature to show you when you no longer have a time bank available on a specific table. You could have the timer say in red "TIME BANK EXPIRED" instead of how it is now w/ 1 sec on it and it autofolds if u take a second before acting. Example:

Auto folded my nut top set of QQ's yesterday 70bb pot I lost + we were 150bb deep so who knows what villain does. Just another day. Literally took 1.5 seconds deciding what to bet. If I knew I had no time bank left I would have just bet anything instantly, but I didn't know I was out of time (unfair imo).


It tilts the #*$% out of me because I would have won (usually a large pot) and lost due to no real fault of my own, since I think a time warning is standard in poker. You get a time warning everywhere else conceivable in poker, why not here? Please help.


If you ever have lost $ due to this and when it happened you thought "This is F'n bulls*** PS" and were fuming mad at Stars (who you normally love) when it happened then please respond to this, discuss this, or at least +1 this.

Yes. I cannot say how mad this makes me and it happens about 1x a week.

I don't want to mute the PS sounds because I do want to hear them, just not that loudly.

use a different alert sound, i believe FTP's are a lower volume but i'm not sure

Its been a long time since PS support answered to requests on this thread (please someone recall the #post) so Im not confident anymore they are reading here, anyway.

Again I asking PS to add at least a $200 level to its DoN's. The argument that it will kill the high stakes normal SNG's is, at least, doubtable. I play this site since 2001 and I well know all of the high stakes normal's on the site. I dont see any of them playing the DoN's other than ocasionally. Most of then play mainly for SNE, they make more money in bonuses and milestones than at the tables so switching to DoN's is -ev for them.

You can check this at the current $104 level where most of the regs dont come from regulars $114's.

Variance is not my best friend and I might be a mediocre poker player, I will admit that, but I found in this form of poker the best way to build a bankroll, be disciplined and be a porfitable player.

I already played 2k $104 DoN's and managed to make a $10k profit in less than 2 months only to find that DoN's are currently one of the few games provided by stars that dont offer the chance to move up in stakes (along with non-holdem heads up games).

Threads and polls been made on this prestigious forum where players (your customers) said they def want higher levels.

If you don't add them, me and many others that play exclusively DoN's will not have a way to grow in $ like any other player would by moving up in stakes. The only choice we have is to keep adding more and more tables to increase the $/hour but I dont think im capable of doing more than 20 at a time.

Last, but not less important, it virtually eliminates the chance for us to reach SNE having to play 50000 in one year I dont think that more than 2 or 3 guys are currently on pace to achieve this. With the $200 level and 25000 games to play is much more easier to acomplish this important goal since is the only way of rakeback that pokerstars player have.

I apologie for my english, is really hard for me to write this and make myself clear when this is not my native language.

I just would like to see a simple response to this on this thread just to make sure you are reading it.

I disagree that it will provide higher security. Right now anyone watching me at the table can get my username, but they would have to brute force my pw. To be able to use a password reset they would need my e-mail, zip code, and street address and be able to connect them to my screen name. However, it is easy to get lists of people's e-mail and hard address, so if they can compromise the security of an e-mail account, they can try a pw reset on Stars to see if the person is a user and if they are, reset the password. Granted this is a shot in the dark type of compromise, but the hardest part for the bad guy would be linking an e-mail to a screen name. If logging in with a screen name, that is necessary. If logging in with an e-mail it helps to target loaded players, but it is not necessary to compromise an account.

I really like the way WSEX does it. You have a login name that is unique to you and is never displayed anywhere. You have a registered e-mail and a screen name (that is different than the login name) that is shown while playing. So to compromise that account the bad guy would need to be able to connect my non-public username and my e-mail.

They should have it so that I can use my mouse cursor and drag over a larg group of tables and I can join the waitlest for all of them at the same time.

Hi,

We considered the possibility of allowing different login names to your account, but decided against it.

Making your login ID different to your screenname will make no significant enhancement to your account's security because someone knowing your password is not a gradual process - either they can login, or they can't. In that sense, it's a binary decision - it's either insecure or it isn't. Knowing half the login information does not mean that someone is able to access half your account, since it is "all or nothing".

If a player is able to deduce your password (either because you told them, because they were able to socially engineer something about you, because you have a keylogger on your PC, or some other reason) then they are also going to be able to do the same thing to your account name, email address, or any other piece of accessible information about you. Consequently, we don't think that having a secret account name will increase the security of your account - anyone who can compromise your password will also be able to compromise your login name (whether it be user-selected or an email address) using the same method.

However, the real solution to this problem is to generate authentication hurdles that cannot be socially engineered (or easily keylogged) in this fashion - which is why we have introduced the PokerStars PIN (this can be enabled on your account now by request to security@pokerstars.com) and are in the process of introducing a RSA Security Token. We expect that we'll be able to distribute the RSA Security Token more widely over the coming couple of months.

We've listened to players who want increased account security, and we're working to deliver it.

ask me if I'm sure when I unjoin a waiting list. since the join and unjoin buttons are placed in the same spot it's very easy to unjoin when you actually intended to join (not realizing you're already on the list)

I would like the PS's waiting list to be the same as live poker rooms. When the box pops up, you should have the choice of "yes" "no" or "stay on list" so you don't have to go to the bottom.

It would also be a nice option to have a box to check that says basically, take the seat, buy me in and sit me out. I've waited 30 mins or longer to get in a game, take three minutes to grab a quick piss or smoke, and missed my turn because they went through a list of other people all doing the same thing...
