Please reduce the amount of time to post the blinds. The current amount is way too long. It's especially annoying when someone doesn't use the 'auto-post' button, and it slows the games down.

I hope that this wasn't mentioned in the 400+ posts of this thread.
I also hope that X-posting this from NVG won't get me in trouble.

Looking at the amount of HU tables going compared to FR or 6-max it is clear that getting profitable HU action isn't as easy as with 6-max tables; especially if you are decent but not the best.

Because of the profitability I play 6-max but extreme TAG play is really poisoning even those tables (I've stopped playing FR a long time ago) as even in a 6-handed game playing 12/9 TAG seems to still be a profitable style.

I'm just not able to enjoy poker that much if I have to tighten up a lot to avoid huge variance because my opponents play one hand in 30 minutes.

Because of this I would love to play on 4-handed tables. The game dynamics would change favourably compared to 6-max AND HU tables.

A lot more people would play at those tables then there are on HU tables right now because of the different perception that people have of one another. There would be less "I am better" or "he's better" and more "player C thinks he's worse than A but better than B. But B thinks that he's worse than C but better than A." Compared to HU where there is just YOUR OPPONENT there would still be a 'finding the fish' at the 4-handed table.

Compared to 6-max games you wouldn't encounter as many mega-multi-tablers who make the game boring by playing ultra TAG because the blinds come around a lot more often and one is forced to widen his ranges. Not only would that bring more action to the table but I think that it would also bring more profitable action as the ratio of uneducated action-hungry hobby players to systematic low variance ABC poker mega-multi-tablers would shift towards the casual players thus making the tables a lot juicier.


[CLIFFNOTES: I hope that 4-handed cash game tables will be introduced at Stars and Full Tilt because the action would be better than HU and 6-max.]

PS: I only play at Stars and FT so if there is a online poker room out there that offers 4-handed cash game tables I would be happy if you could mention it here.

Dunno if anyone commented on this, I have noticed that instead of instantly putting you into a seat before you buyin, the seat is reserved and your username shows only after you buyin.

Small change but keeps dummies from clogging tables just to see their name at high stakes.

That explains why I sometimes haven't been able take an apparently available seat recently.

The "R" icon should change to something different when someone has taken the seat but not yet bought in.
