-Increase the ratholing time to 7 days. Neuter 'pro ratholers' while not bothering the fish at all since they rarely play more than 1 or 2 tables. They can just find another one and that's assuming they don't want to continue playing on their lucky table where they already ran their min buyin up. Increasing the min buyin, even just slightly to something like 35BB would also work just as well.
this isnt a ridiculous suggestion at all

Oh yeah I played some on FT and having cards flipped is a lot more stressful for me.

I like having cards down because I dont see results and usually dont even notice badbeats/etc.

I have to agree with CHOO CHOO here.

Flipping cards up in ring games when AI is just a bad suggestion imo. If i take a beat i don't want to worry about it, i just reload when i make the call and move on.

Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

Just add deep tables and then when people complain about short stackers u can send them a email saying:

Hello ILIKPRETEENS,

Thank you for writing to us.

We understand your concern about short-stackers buying in for 20bb in the NL games. Please shut your ****ing trap and go play the NL DEEP tables instead you whiny little bitch.

If you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us
again.

Regards,

Rufus

Make card backs a bright, patterned design that will stand out against the black cyber-felt.

you can change the color of the cards on whatever table you are on.

Indeed you can, but it is very annoying the client auto-updates user modified cardback.bmp (or whatever the correct name is).

On the deck "simple" your choices are between several different grays, with the default table having a gray background also

Bright card backs on the simple deck is an excellent suggestion. I never used the simple deck until I learned how to mod card backs and get around the updates because they are totally camouflaged. It amazes me that they're still that way after a year and a half or whatever it's been.

Re: **OFFICIAL Stars Software Improvement Thread***

even better, have a pop-up of changes when pokerstarsupdate.exe finds an update - and give us the option to upgrade or decline.

Of course this would be useless unless image mods are disregarded when checking for a potential update.
