I just had a message in the chat stating "please type word x into the chat box" you have 100 seconds and then it started to countdown...

So I can see my VIP Store Order Histories now. I wasn't able to for a few weeks, not sure what the issue was.

That's disturbing. How am I supposed to be able to read this chat message if I have the info tab open? Or do you mean that you got a popup? But even if so, will the system kick me out in 100 seconds if my copy of the StarsCaption hotkey script closes this popup instantly (not giving me the time to read it) like it does with all 1-button dialogs?

I've unticked 'Auto-accept all one-button dialogs' in StarsCaption (the Dialogs tab) for now because of the threat of this anti-bot popup.

It is not a popup. It covers all chat space and i too think is for bot detection.

iirc it still shows even with info tab open i also use info tab and i had this come up once whilst multi tabling

This function has been in the software for many years, so it's not something new. It's not a popup, but a CAPTCHA message that appears in the chat window. Here is a thread that discussed it back a few years ago:

What if you keep the chat window closed? I've always got chat minimised, does it force itself open if you need to complete a CAPTCHA?

This is the error message that every single time I get after I try to deposit on my Pokerstars.cz account.I've already verified my accounts 2 times.
I enter the amount of deposit on Skrill or Neteller deposit page the I click submit and I get this message and can't go further from there.I reported this issue to the support 2 months ago they kept telling me they're working on it.2 weeks ago I asked them again and got similar response that issue forwarded to programming team and nothing happened since then.It's really frustrating.Waiting,waiting and wating...

This is new. And frankly, quite concerning.

I deposited $100 into Stars two weeks ago to play the MicroMillions. I wagered and lost $40 worth of tournaments and had my fun, and now I want $60 back.

What PS is now saying is that the $60 doesn't belong to me anymore in the form of $60. It belongs to me in the form of $60 in PS credit. That severely devalues the money I deposited.

I've never had this issue before with Stars or any other site. If this is true going forward, then I'll be very careful in my deposit dollar amounts, and I expect everyone to do the same. It doesn't make sense.

Yes you have to get four in one day to get promoted.

You get demoted to a lower chest if you don't get more than 2 in one day I believe.

Labax is correct (thanks for posting!), yes. If you complete four Gold Chests in a calendar day (Eastern Standard Time) you will be upgraded to a Platinum Chest. When three consecutive Chests of the same type (in this example Platinum) are earned on separate days, then you are downgraded back to Gold. So once you are upgraded, 2 of your next three Chests should be earned on the same day.

The system is designed where you should be at a Chest type where you earn 2 Chests in a day most of the time.

Not presently in the client. But you can ask Support for a summary, and they will send you an XML file with your past rewards information.

Please provide the following options for opening Chests:

1. Skip animation
2. Open all Chests at the same time, only show summary

Thanks for posting, that's going to catch a lot of people out if they introduce it at higher stakes in a similar way. It's odd to do it now. Not many 24-tablers left at any stakes.

Preflop facing no action (18 seconds > 12 seconds) is a good change imo.

The change to postflop and 3bet+ situations preflop (25 seconds > 15 seconds) isn't great. When people take time facing a 3bet or facing a river raise it's not to slow down the games, it's to make a decision.

so good regulars who already figured out their play are again in advantage vs others, because their need less time to decide. wp stars, wp!
