All the casino challenge stuff I mentioned previously has now been removed from the client...we'll at least for me anyway.

Hopefully we will now return to normal service and only get bombarded with info about things happening that we can actually participate in...

Latest UK update (build 15233) on Windows 10 is a bit of a mess:

• Theme for all tables force changed to "Nova" and all downloaded themes (hypersimple etc) needed redownloaded.
• Some (but not all) settings changed, hotkeys etc were fine but some cosmetic settings had been reset.
• Lobby crashed when trying to open a table - "not responding".
• Cashier is a mess (looks like it wasn't tested with multiple currencies). It's been suggested countless times, remove the play money section, it's useless and takes up far too much space.
• New tab in lobby "Beat the Clock" - aside from the obvious objections to the format, is it really necessary to have so many gimmick games pinned to the main lobby? That's now separate tabs for Spin & Go, KO and now Beat the Clock.

A couple of minutes ago my ps.bg needed new update to build 15225 so i updated it but in the end there was some error, so did it again and it worked. Now as far as i can see only my table is in a different theme - nova and all my other settings are the same.
Not cool ps.

Is there any way to get the hole cards back to before the update? having this extra icon on the last hole card in Omaha Is so distracting.

There seems to be a problem with 2-7td and 2-7nl cash games and tournaments. When trying to open them im greeted with an error message ''table creation failed , low system resources''

the pop up that occurs after you bust a satellite needs an option to turn it off. the other day i had a bunch of tables going and it caused me to time out. it can also cause missclicks as it takes priority on my screen when it occurs.

can you please address this issue?

A large number of players are complaining about this so, hopefully Keith will take that on board and implement a change or at least an opt-out option.

While i'm here...why are the updates taking so long these days?! In the past they used to take 60 secs tops. This morning I set my alarm to get up and play a particular MTT, only to miss it because I didn't allow for the 25+mins it took to update the client when I went to login.

After last update to mac client, stars client eats up processor % on the and makes the fans go off. Before the update there was no problem at all for me. Is it possible to revert back to the previous version on mac?

edit: it works fine other then that but something makes it require more power now then before.

Know it´s possible on windows but when going in to the directory on the pokerstars app on mac and look at the backup folder it´s empty.

Somewhere in this thread there are links to older versions of the clients.

I found the solution using the "time machine". I restored to the last version and then added this paragraph to the com.pokerstars.ini file

RunUpdateCheck=0

Now im running the old version without a CPU high usage

Ok nice! I don´t use time machine so can´t unfortunately do that :/ Miss the old silent version.

I've experienced more client crashes today, after downloading the latest update (15276), than in the last 7 years.

in regards to responsible gaming - any chance you can make it so you can choose the maximum amount of tables you want to play, eg max of 2 or whatever as I struggle with this and it would work out as more rake in the long run for pokerstars from me anyway

Sorry that I don't have any further update on this issue. We know the Mac client has problems since the last update, and the developers are working on it. I'll let you know when I hear more, I'm sure there will be a new deployment when they resolve it.

What happens when I have 4 spins(one with a 25x multiplier) going and the multiplier I have spun inexplicably does not give me any buttons to press and I'm getting blinded away, whilst the other spins are playing fine. I obviously have to restart my whole computer because the client won't let me shut it down manually either.

Hard cheese for me I suspect, this never happened on full tilt software.

Looks like that old crashing problem came back :-(, Pokerstars "freezes" after few HU SNG games, when one of tables is closing. Its impossible to play even ~10 heads-up games without freezing tables and lobby, then you need to restart and sometimes just after restart, another crash is happen. Build 15265
