The lag is still there. It lags less often, but it does. Very tilting.

On every poker site when you turn on 4 color deck, spades are black.
What's the problem with black spades ?
For me it would be more difficult to make a difference between 'yellow' (spades) and 'light green' (clubs) than 'light green' and 'black'.
In any case, if you insist on yellow spades then just wait for them to release the deck and someone will paint that black color with yellow and release it as a custom deck.

I mean , I can go ahead now and ask for purple spades, someone else would ask for orange spades and so on ...

I use a dark table theme because I find it much more comfortable to grind for my eyes. Black spades don't contrast well.

I don't really get what your problem is, I just asked Stars if they could include yellow spades. Obviously they won't include yellow spades if no one asks. And you guys can ask for different colour spades too. I mean really thats what the whole thread is for right?

Re: **PokerStars Software Improvement Thread***

I don't have a problem with your request for yellow spades, except if that's going to delay the release of the standard version of that deck (black spades) caused by difficulties with coding all those options with different colors such as yellow spades. Obviously that's a problem for them, and rightly so IMO. Why should they care about that ? They're going to use the colors for the deck that majority of people are used to.
I'm sure though that you will have that same deck with yellow spades day after it gets released, someone will make it for free of course.

The complexity of adding an extra set of cards is being vastly over-estimated ITT.

Now stop lobbying against other people's suggestions.

Re: **PokerStars Software Improvement Thread***

No way can it be hard to offer yellow spades. You want to call on a secondary image for players using the 'yellow spades' option. Black spades are offered by default. If custom decks can be made with yellow spades, PS should be able to do it 10x better.

It should take less than a day's work given to your best dev. The new deck looks clean and crisp for multi-tabling, and yellow spades are a hit with that group.

I do like the suggestion of being able to install the color of choice. In fact a library of rank styles and card faces so you could assemble your own deck would be the nuts. You could then offer decks for specific types of color blindness, sets with T instead of 10, etc. etc. and if the files are supplied from PokerStars, they could be keyed as to not prompt an update every time you launch (as is the case with current commercial card mods)

Of course custom chip sets would soon follow </dream>

Alternative option: comboBox.add(YellowSpades) *

Either people have seen Stars' code and it's the worst written software on the planet or people don't understand how easy a change it is.

For now we are focused on getting the deck released and then we can build on top with the option for yellow spades given that it will benefit enough players.

The current estimate is that the new deck will be used a lot more than the yellow spades option, hence we are prioritizing getting the deck out and we are evaluating the need and priority to have yellow spades separately based on player demand.

If we do add yellow spades, most probably it will apply to all decks, not just to some of the decks, so it is a separate task from that point of view.

The suggestion few posts above to add just a check box for "Yellow Spades" if you have "4 Color Deck" already enabled is one good way to have this option presented.

There is no timetable at this point that we can share. We actually expect a prototype on TestPokerStars to be available later in August for player testing (subject to changes). Based on stability of the feature it might be released soon to main clients or might stay on TestPokerStars only for a longer period of time.
