After the update my avatar has vanished as well as many other regs on my tables, then it turned to a FTP avatar lol

23 minutes into my PLO zoom session the LOW SYSTEM message appeared when I tried to rewatch a hand and my client simply crashed in the middle of a hand in another table.

I kinda need to put volume somewhere and it's really bad on tournaments, guess I can't play zoom as well.

Where the **** is my avatar? all my settings seem to be fine but avatar disappeared.

Next thing you know the cashier figure will be off. Just another oopsie from amaya?

My avatar has also disappeared. I am curious, for those of you who's avatar has disappeared, have you tried putting a new avatar? Or are you just waiting for Stars to resolve the issue?

I'm not able to open Pokerstars...
Software closes immediately after starting. I did not change anything in the system.
Only updated HM2, but that can't be it, already rebooted and tryed starting stars without HM2. Updated stars now as well, re-installed also.. nothing working

Please help me

I've tried uploading a new one but its pending approval...
As soon as i uploaded a new one i got switched to an old FTP one which i didn't choose....

Has anyone had anything other than the generic reply from them? Doesn't sound like they care, couple of years ago a broken update would have been fixed the same day.

ok got it :/ seems like it was caused by updating HM2. When u start HM2 first, and then PS it works... at least for me.
If no, here is the answer i got from stars:

Thank you for your email.

We can confirm that we have seen similar reports in the past, unfortunately often caused by third party tools.

Upon feedback from our development team, we kindly ask to perform troubleshooting steps in following order:

1. Uninstall your tracker software: Control Panel -> Programs -> Uninstall Program

2. Backup your player notes located in the poker client settings folder:

Click on Start -> Search, copy/paste the following into the Search box and press enter:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local

Locate and open your poker client folder.

Find the file "notes.YourStarsID.xml" and copy it to a safe location like your Desktop

3. Navigate one level up to the parent directory ..\AppData\Local and delete the poker program folder.

4. Uninstall the poker client through: Control Panel -> Programs -> Uninstall Program

5. Navigate to C:\Program Files and manually delete the poker client folder

6. On completion of deleting all files make sure that you have logged into Windows using an account that has Administrator rights. The next step is to ensure that UAC is enabled as having this disabled may cause the software to not run:

To do this go to the Control Panel then type UAC into the Search box in the top right hand corner of the window. Please click on the link that says Change User Account Control Settings. Once the window loads please ensure that the slider bar is on Default which is the second option from the top.

7. Once this is done, restart your computer.

8. Download the latest poker client installer from our website:

http://www.pokerstars.eu/poker/download/

9. Please install the software into the default directory of C:\Program Files\...\ and then try running the program again *without* installing a 3rd party tracker

If the crash occurs again, we kindly ask for set of new log files.

If software works correctly and it is stable, please reinstall your tracking software. However, please make sure that you use most recent version.

At this point, you can restore your player notes by copying the notes.YourStarsID.xml file back in the poker client settings folder.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Yeah, I'm not overly excited about recent software issues as well. From what I see, they still didn't fixed "filters (disappearing) issue", and now my avatar is gone.

I found a way to get it back, though. Just need to restore a backup from your PS folder and wait for fix until updating the client again (start it via pokerstars.exe in the meantime, if you haven't already doing that).

Resubmitting your avatar isn't gonna make any good, since it's obviously a client-side issue.

I have to reconnect every 20 min bc of connection loss bug (which appears on every table and lobby sequentially).
Recently I`ve reinstalled PT and have reinstalled PS client after few reconnects w/ nochanges.

I`ve heard a lot of users have similar issues.

Guess you should roll back your update and compensate players for this experience.

If tech support isn't around on weekends, wonder if maybe it'd be possible for PS to release updates on Mondays instead of Thursday/Friday whenever possible ... for those occasional times where something might need a little tweaking, or whatever?

Only have avi issues right now, but maybe next time may not be so lucky, who knows

I dont think the problem is all because of pokertracker or HM. I have 2 pc, I only use pt4 in 1 pc but both have the same problem.

Unbelievable, 4 days since the problem and they cant fix it. Why? hacking attempts or what happens?

Also having these issues. No avatar, Pokerstars constantly crashing etc. Tried reinstalling PokerStars, updating HM2, etc and no luck. Running Windows 7.

If there's one thing Stars has always been solid on it's software so this is extremely concerning. First the filter bug that was left for over a month and now this update with disappearing avatars and tons of other bugs. What's going on?!

Well guys I guess they're gonna have to increase the rake again to fix the software, but that's ok, I mean if we want avatars and a stable software we must give them a little more money, right ? Hopefully they'll make good use of it and not give it all to Cristiano Ronaldo or Neymar Jr.

For anyone having the freezing/missing cards bugs on Win7 - I upgraded to Win10 and the issues haven't reoccurred. Win10 is a bit of a pain to get used to but after a few hours setting it up it's ok (google "what to disable in Windows 10" and read the first few hits).

I did start getting the bug where the software wouldn't load at all after upgrading to Win10 - you need to set PokerstarsUpdate to run as admin, the compatibility tab is missing so you need to right click, troubleshoot compatibility, select "this program needs more permissions" then it should work as normal.

...and if we are complaining about **** I played Zoom for the first time in about 4 months and they still haven't fixed the bug that makes the time alarm go off everytime you're UTG. I don't know how Zoom regs deal with it. It drives me crazy.
