Thanks for the suggestion Chips, not sure it will have a direct impact on the Card Match animations but can't hurt to try because it may reduce the general load on graphics.

We have literally tens of thousands of players every day using Card Match without any problems, it's proving to be a very popular promotion so it is not going away. However, we know that a few players have reported crashes, we've discussed your comments posted here in the thread and we are looking into the possibility of creating an option to hide or opt-out of the promotion. It may take a build cycle or two to get through the pipeline once the design is approved, so we can't say when we'll have it but we want you to know that we hear you and we are trying to address it.

I'm having fewer crashes now after disabling third-party table management - the issues seem to be mostly caused by resizing/moving a table while CardMatch is loading.

Still getting freezes (mostly when it does the weird CardMatch sound/animation thing around another players avatar) but they're not turning into crashes anywhere near as often as before.

Sometimes (maybe 1 in 20 times?) the CardMatch window loads wrong/doesn't load/flashes/something else, if I close that table immediately I have no issues, leaving that table open with the wonky CardMatch window leads to a crash within 20 minutes.

Why not load the CardMatch window only when a player can use it? Promo runs once at the start of the day for each player, it's just weird to leave it there causing problems the rest of the day, even if the problems are for a minority.

Finally, there's probably a lot more problems than you're aware of Keith, support flat out refuse to deviate from their script. Are they punished for escalating problems? First line support seem like their only job is to annoy customers into submission.

i already had this one, unfortunately it doesnt solve a single cardmatch related problem im experiencing

The thing is that the promo has some web-browser content embedded into each table. Check Windows Task Manager. And yes, Placemint hates it, and Windows' "easier to manage windows" (the thing that Aero does when moving a window to the top of the screen) hates it as well. Hell, for all that I know, even the PS client hates it.

But even without those two things active, it is creating problems, exactly like The Imp says. Sometimes Card-Match will not load correctly, and I've had tables completely frozen, visually (but I was still playing, somehow, obviously blind) until I had to timeout and close them. Some other times the whole client will crash, and obviously all the hands at play will be timed-out and check-folded. That is extremely expensive.

As you can understand, Keith, this issue is not just bothering. It poses a big threat to the money I'm wagering at the tables, so until there's an option to have that crappy piece of programming embedded in each table turned off, it's me who's off from Pokerstars.

That, to me, shows the deccline in software programming quality that the company is showing (along with everything else) at Amaya's hands.

It must really suck to work there now.

absolutely redicolous that stars cant remove the avatar back to default no image w/o having some random ftp avatar showing instead when i dont even have ftp installed or ever have since the merge its **** 2017 stars

Timed down with AA preflop due to a few missclicks and my hand was auto-folded before going to my timebank? Who in the world decided that hands should be folded before the time bank is activated?

Edit: I guess you have to actually click the time-bank button. Costly lesson.

I can confirm also, with cardmatch back my tables are lagging when a new one opens and I cannot do any actions on other tables forcing a freeze-timebank-folding out the hand.

Without cardmatch all my tables were smooth sailing and enjoyable playing.

Please do something about this, re-installing doesn't help.

Suggestion: Could you put the cardmatch promo in the challenges tab, just activate the promo from there instead of having it on the tables.

Is the 2-3 second action delay a common thing? My internet was fine, but PS was lagging a lot yesterday

That started again since the last restart of your servers. For god sake it`s 2017, how that 888 has better software than Stars?

just thought of a solution to this stars could put the default no image avatars (as they would show on each theme) in the list of stars avatars to choose therefore you can select each 1 (depending on theme your using) and select it wiping out the full tilt avatar that randomly shows

or they could get there **** together and get whoever is in charge of that department to get there fingers out there arse and sort whatever bug it is it cant be that hard can it it is 2017 afterall

surely when ive already reached the daily cardmatch and i cannot play this game anymore, there should be no need for a cardmatch tab to exist at the table, and definetely not for this tab to force itself on every table

Hi, if you have contact with the programming team there are a few things wrong with CardMatch - problems that only appear when CardMatch is running. They obviously don't affect everyone but we know the exact cause - why not just fix it?

I posted a few posts ago how I reduced crashes. They were mainly caused by third party table management (moving/resizing), CardMatch really doesn't like a table being resized before it's finished loading. If you're not going to fix this at least add the info to the support script, players have been using these programs for years without issues.

The CardMatch window sometimes fails to load correctly in a variety of ways, leads to a crash. Closing the affected table prevents a crash. Some kind of memory leak? Seems easy enough to diagnose/fix.

The intermittent CardMatch sound/animation around another players avatar freezes up the client for a few seconds. Only occasionally but enough to be annoying - no-one even knows what that's for! Did the player just match a card? Win the max prize? Crash?

If there's no-one able to fix any of that just let us opt out!
