This is what you have to click through when you log onto PS from the US. Every single time. I'm sorry but I do not see how you didn't do this intentionally and they even say they will take your bankroll in the third paragraph.

I'm not a hard stats guy but looking at sharkscope it looks like i've played about 2200 SNG's in the last year. I'd guess my avg rake is somewhere between $1.50 and $2. Plus some cash games. They're making at least $4,000 a year off of me and this how they treat me. I really do hope there are legit alternatives. I've been with pokerstars since 2007 I believe and have always been in good standing.

I've already explained. My laptop automatically signs into a VPN that routes through Toronto everytime i start my computer. I was having connectivity issues and disconnected the VPN after I was already signed into pokerstars. Obviously if I knew what i was doing was wrong I never would have done this. I can assure you I never got this message.

But it's not very ethical.
relax till at least monday so, probably unlikley to get a proper response before that

as per his thread he used a VPN (Canadian I presume) so if only ever used the non US VPN to start a connection to stars he would not see it. He stated that the VPN may have dropped and that would then give his new US IP addy connecting to stars - I am not sure if he would now get the popup while in the middle of a session

whether or not the OP connected first to stars from a US IP addy, got the pop up, closed the client, then connected to the VPN to log into stars is not known to us

They are on par with the best in the industry. They have a dedicated thread in the internet forum (this section) and the rep is very good getting back to people with requests etc. Best way to gauge if this site is for you would be to read through that thread. Their marketing strategy is to cater to recreational players through anonymous tables and the site has been steadily growing.

What do you mean by anonymous tables? You can't see who is seated?

I already have an account with Party but the last time I played there (or anywhere for that matter) there is very little SNG traffic.

You can't see who you're playing against. Basically seating scripts and HUDs can't work for you or against you. Read the Unibet thread to get a better handle on whether that's the site for you. I don't play there yet so I can't offer a personal experience. Party has had an awful lot of disconnections of late which has irked a lot of players lately. They too have a dedicated thread which you can formulate an opinion of the site based on posts. Both have good site reps here on 2+2 imo.

As per your case I think you have an excellent chance of getting your funds back to the level they were pre going to the US. (IF you won in the US) and if you lost well you're out that money seems obv. fair. In both cases a stiff warning should suffice assuming you've been fully honest (as u seem to have been)

BOVADA poker formerly known as BoDog, is a good alternative for a rec player. All anonymous so Huds and Seat Scripting are non factors.

I should say they've responded to my "huh" with an actual email. It appears they are at least willing to listen.

Tried unibet as the poster above suggested. Yikes was that ugly. The only sit n goes they had were 2 person and 5 person and no traffic. Then I went to my Party account, not quite as ugly but almost. Finally deposited $100 with 888 and it hasn't been much fun. I did get 3 sng's to load over the course of about 2 hours.

some random girl i met at a hotel who was working behind reception so had to talk to me instead of been a stuck up ****** claimed she made $2000 on 888 poker because there sngs are very fishy.

Obviously her words have to be taken as gospel without any degree of skepticism and this anecdotal story taken as complete proof that there is good money to be had at 888 poker.

you should do ok there unless you run into her in which case your screwed.

However she said she only plays when shes bored so you should hopefully be alright.

mind you she did complain about been bored a lot when she was talking to me.

wait i just realized she was not polite or nice to me she was a stuck up ******

oh well never mind its the usual.

I would not give up on Pokerstars that easily. They did not close your account and therefore should not seize all your money . I can understand they want to keep the winnings from the US but you should be able to keep the rest of your balance.

I remember did this with someone who played few hands at micros from the states. If they seize they should perma ban you or it looks like a money grab regardless of circumstances imo.

Not sure what you are implying. I've played Tilt a bit in the past but not much at all. I haven't played heads up in years other than a single game where I needed a quick fix.

My play 98% is $15 and $30 6, 9, 18 and 27 seat SNG's. Use same nick on stars.

I did put $100 in my account last night as at least pokerstars seems to be willing to hear me out. I still haven't heard back from them since I responded to their requests for more info Saturday night.
