He's already gotten it back, likely under the agreement that he can't discuss the details.

Obviously they do have a value, or PS wouldn't be able to sell them, and if that's the case, I got 3 million play chips I'll sell for cheap.

If you don't agree with the T&C, then don't click the "I agree" button. Most people probably don't read the whole thing (myself included) but maybe we should.
Online agreements are binding (in many places) but regardless of contract formation, not all terms of contracts are legally enforceable. Basically the terms have to be reasonable and the parties have to act in good faith. Jurisdictions vary on details but, for example: http://www.compactlaw.co.uk/free-leg...contracts.html

Not the pokerstars of yore.

Well, I doubt this type of situation has anything to do with any of the changes in Pokerstars at all. This was a somewhat strange case where a person dumbed it up (ie: not on purpose with a VPN like most of these threads where people still claim to be innocent lambs) playing in the US, and had a disproportionate amount in his cashier compared to the games he played.

Their default following of their terms certainly seemed harsh in this situation, for if the dude had 53 bucks in his account than taking that and allowing him to keep the account would probably be happily accepted by the player and most posters here as fair.

I appreciate that people are upset about the announced changes, and I am sure DoN players would have loved similar general outrage when they removed those games at the time, but this situation does not seem to really link to any of the changes in management.

Also, I highly doubt Spin and Gos were developed under the Amaya watch. Those were likely in development for a long time and were coming regardless of any sale of Pokerstars, so they were pretty much part of the Pokerstars of yore.

Hello I am very desperate to get my account back. Pokerstars froze my account pending a security check. I have sent all my documentation including some really personal and confidential documents. Nothing has been done and I have sent numerous emails with only automated responses saying I am in queue. This is very frustrating as I was on a hot streak and would love to continue playing. Is there anyone in this site who can help me out as I am a victim of no crime here.. not a fraud, yet I am not allowed to play on Pokerstars. Please if someone has any information on who can help me please help I would really like to get back to the tables before the end of the month so I can hit Plat star, this is just way to frustrating sitting around when I have provided all the necessary documents and nothing is being done.

Kindest Regards Matt

It looks like they are in the initial stages of what sounds like a routine check. Have a little patience and if you've done nothing wrong then odds are strongly in your favour that things will go fine. No point in re-emailing them.

Thank you for your response Sect7g. It has been over a week and all documentation has been sent and game integrity said they will be completing their investigation but it will take a few days. It has been a week and I am starting to get nervous, impatient, frustrated and eager to get back to the tables. The completion process I should not take a week. Is there any Pokerstars reps that can help me out? Please if any can someone notify me.

Thank you Matt

Hang tight Matt. These issues can take around 2 weeks at max unless it's an extremely unusual case involving tons of people. You'll probably have a resolution by Monday or Tuesday. Gl to you.
