I wish stars employed me to shill this forum, where 95% of my posts are in 3 threads, all hockey related. It would be awesome for pokerstars to pay me to post mainly about the Calgary Flames, I hope they continue!
Also I hate the flames with a passion.

94 was a pretty good year tho wasn't it.

Of course, I can only speak for PokerStars on this issue.

On the more substantive issue here in this thread, it is our normal practice to email players if we ever freeze a player's account. In general, by far the most common reason to freeze a player's account is in order to seek identification for a player in accordance with the strict regulations that we operate under.

It is typically difficult to explain such requests in a dialog box, so we email such requests to players.
I just got one of these identity verification emails. I hope my account is not locked when I try to log on this afternoon.

I have recently started playing and just had a message come up saying my privileges have been revoked.

I live in a flat with two other people who both play pokerstars also and we share the same wireless internet router.

Are you not allowed to have three individual flatmates playing on separate accounts simultaneously?

It would **** me off to find this out after depositing money on pokerstars considering that I've done nothing fraudulent.

Now I have to wait up to 72 hours for support to reply, while missing out on freerolls, satelites, tournaments etc.

This started after I tried to transfer a dollar to my flatmate so that he could play...

How can I sort this out?

Wait for an email from Support?

Seeing as you've taken the trouble to find and bump this thread, it looks like that's the message in it.

Oh did it all work out okay for this guy?

My apologies, read the first page and couldn't read the other 5.

How long do support take on average to reply?

Cheers.

Sure it worked out okay, Fragui is now a Team Online Pro on the .fr if i'm not mistaken

Stars support response time may vary but it's usually been between 20min and 8h for me. They'll probably ask for your ID etc to check you're not one person multi-accounting.

Honestly the only thing i can think of is the FTP situation, i've never had a problem with pokerstars and have been loyal and never created a 2nd account or anything like that ....

You will never be able to play at stars/ftp again. Its done once forever. They might even close accounts of anybody related to you.
