Yea, also been giving 16nl fr zoom a try (first time it's running so why not?). It's super soft! Got a guy to call all-in pre with 63s. There was also another spot where the guy had exactly 2c left on the river (pot was $9), I bet and he folded. Lol

Nice!!

Hope there's another zoom only challenge later on at the Gold level - hopefully on like a Sunday. It was so nice to have such soft tables for once - haven't been running so hot with the cash in the long-run for quite a while now ... so any time there's people in the pool with as many leaks as me, is nice to have

Nice that it sounds like lots of people enjoyed themselves at the tables today

PS. The Grammys are on now, with lots of performances ... Taylor Swift, John Legend, Lady Gaga, a preview of a new Broadway musical named Hamilton, etc.

Yep, today was fun! I won 2 all-in shootout tickets, so let's see what I can bink

Since today's promo was for cash games, it would make sense if tomorrow's is for tourney players (especially since it is in recognition of the first WCOOP event in 2002). So my guess is there will be something quite easy like "Play 3 SNGs/MTTs" for the silver challenge and maybe something a bit harder like "Win 5 spin and gos" for the gold challenge. Any other guesses?

Huh.
Was thinking it'd be the same cash game thingy all throughout the 14 days.
Guess not?

It's not

https://www.pokerstars.com/poker/pro...on/milestones/

In the "Special Offer Details and Rules" section at the bottom it says:

Quote:
PokerStars Milestone tournament Challenges can only be completed by playing real money tournaments (MTTs, satellites, Sit & Go’s or Spin & Go’s) with buy-ins of $1 or more.
This suggests there will be some milestone tournament challenges as well as the cash game ones

Gosh, was hoping the new one would be up by now - not sure will be able to hang on until midnight to find out what the new one will be ...

Was just catching up on some emails, and got this one from Stars ... (warning: Dnegs ahead)

Am tempted to say something about it not being $100k added if we're all chipping in 50 coins to enter, but am too tired to bother (oh wait, just did ... lol ). Anyways, it looks like there's an entry limit, and it's already half full - hadn't heard much about this tourney, so thought maybe others might not have noticed it either?

Kind of an unusual time for a big promo tourney - it seems like most of them tend to be a little earlier in the day?

Guess will find out what the new challenge is tomorrow - night everybody

It means MTT - scheduled as in scheduled start time, rather than a SNG which goes off when it fills.

Do rebuys count? As in, if you bust and rebuy is it counted as another tourney entry?

Don't know sorry, I would guess they count as 1 entry regardless of the number of rebuys you have. I plan on stalling my way to a min cash in a $5 hyper to secure victory in the gold challenge.

I guess there will be only two or three Spin & Go challenges, considering that Spins are such a small part of Stars' history, sigh.

Nice! I wonder which types of scheduled tourney give you the best chance of cashing? I'm considering going for the "timebomb" tournaments where there's a set time it lasts and whoever's left gets paid an amount based on how many chips they have. Sounds quite fun and could be quite easy to cash in?

Your logic appears sound but I've never played in those type of tournaments ever so I cannot really comment

TBH I would not stress too much about maxing the EV, it is a strong and fun promotion for small stakes MTT playing, just play some low buy ins and try and cash

I can't figure out how to see what prizes I won for doing the challenge... It just says completed for me with no prize showing that I can see.

Any idea what could be going on?

Also, 10NL zoom was softer than I've ever seen it tonight!

You won shootout tickets, you will be auto registered in them.

Do a Ctrl-R and look at the tournaments you are registered in

i won 5 bucks in today's promo. i dont think i will make the silver challenge since i have to put 3,30$ and a lot of time for a measly 1,70$ EV.

I really like the fact that it's 24 hours from when you press start rather than it finishes at an exact time. I have work in 5 hours so MTT's is a no go for me today. However, tomorrow is my day off so I'll start it an hour before it expires and play them all tomorrow! Liking that idea Stars!

You are correct, based on the way they have been promoting it, the prizepool should be bigger. That's what I assumed it was. It even says the same thing on the website.

upon clicking the cash game challenge....it prompts me and says u have 24 hours from when you click this promo.....when infact you do not....so i started promo finished gold...collected the lame shootout prize...played some hands in the gold chalenge slept and woke up...turned on stars and not more challenge. this is super lame as ***. telling time expired...so infact it is not when yiou click the challenge to begin it...it only starts up yur challenge so if yu do not start it at 0000 whatever time u do not get 24 hours to complete challenges.....false adverts

good job amaya

Fingers crossed mine does the same then! I'll start it soon, assume that it won't be there in the morning and if it is... a tournament grind tomorrow!
