There's no sense in tilting, luck will be on your side sometime. I'm dreaming about this kind of a promo (as well as milestone hands, Beat the Clock, SM ticket giveaways) becoming weekly, though of course they'll need to be less generous and possibly tougher in order to be sustainable.
Yea i really hope that these sorts of promos becoming a regular thing will be what the "increased marketing budget" will be spent on next year

After about 100 180 mans of various buy ins, shipped a $8 180 man and a $2.50 180 man to complete the challenge with only couple of hours to spare.
Nice little $500 boost to the bankroll is very appreciated.
Really like the promo. cheers.

Well done to all of you that won yesterday's challenge! I had a stupid day working in London so when I got back I was exhausted. Sounds like a good promotion though, I'd be up for playing something like that if it came up again!

Even something like make the money in (x) amount of tournaments in 24 hours or something like that I'd really enjoy!

Please keep it up.

Lots of praise for this promo!

More something like this in the future but also make it slight easier for players who don't want to put much volume like asking them to FT 2-3 180s, 5 cashes, play 10 180s etc etc.

Got a question about these promos. So when im about to make my deposit, it then says i qualify for a ticket. So basically before you deposit... it actually tells you what your prize is such as if cash reward or those tickets? Last time it gave me message i qualify for a ticket after my deposit with bonus code... then once i did... i got the ticket.

I hope they release the info.

Congrats!

I apologize for how I came across.

I wasn't saying it was an impossible task. I was saying to a non-reg in these games it is a DOA promo.

Obviously anyone grinding a hundred of these a day or more is gonna possibly double-bink. They might even be +ev as a result if their game of choice is the hypers.

But a dabbling rec? Gonna stay out of the mosh pit while the regs fight it out with likely increased volume.

This promo actually reminded me in a way of how B.O.P. rewarded the reg mass grinders. Not saying that is a bad thing obv... just thought AmayaStars was now all about encouraging recs to play new variants or more volume.

PS I also agree the Daily Double million dollar promo is lol... no different than SpinAndGo where a HUGE jackpot is gonna be won VERY RARELY. Definitely prefer the payout structure in this 180 promo.

I thought about that too. As soon as I made the deposit I got a pop up saying that I qualify for a ticket. And I was like Damn it.. Not $20K all-in shootout freeroll. Then few seconds later, I get a message saying I won $10 cash reward. So I checked my ' Tournament ticket's ' and it shows 1 x Mega Bonus Credit Receipt which I guess is a placeholder ticket. So basically you get a ticket no matter what prize you get

Anuj nailed it.

You get the "ticket" by default, which then disappears if you get a better prize instead.

A few months ago a similar promo explained that whole process; this one did not repeat that info for some reason AFAIK.

So these Christmas 'Allin shootouts' are not actually allin ?

-If you reach final table, everyone has 2-3M chips and blinds are still only 200-300k, then it actually -plays out ? So if you think you are allin each hand, final table you are sitout and you lose ?

As far as I understand, the blinds in a HU shootout are readjusted in every round... so what matters is that, while HU Zoom dealing is in progress, i.e. while there are over 8192 players left, no one has more than 1 big blind yet.

All hail Golden SnGs today!

So I hit the straight flush but it didn't finish the promotion. Did I miss something? I only says win a real money or zoom hand. Nothing that it only applies to NLHE.

I got that too. To be fair, the zoom tables are absolutely packed today, probably cos lots of people are doing the same thing as you.

I managed to win the promo, unfortunately only got the minimum $20

Also, here's some quick tips that'll make it easier to win with a straight flush:

[]Play 8 tables of 2nl zoom (4 fr and 4 6max). This should maximise the frequency of hands you play and hence increase the chance of making a straight flush, whilst at the same time costing the minimum.

[] Spend most of your time looking for hands that are suited and connected in some way (obv cos these have the highest chances of making a straight flush). I did a lot of limp/calling stuff like 57s UTG or even 58s, which would normally be -EV but the promo makes it +EV.

[] Whenever you flop some sort of draw to a straight flush, don't bet! The last thing you want is for your opponent to fold before you can make your hand! In the same spirit, when you get a suited connector preflop, don't raise! Otherwise everyone might fold preflop before you have a chance to connect with the board.

[] Look out for backdoor straight flush draws, especially 3 in a row suited. These might be a fold under normal circumstances but are probably +EV to call a medium sized bet otf at 2nl cos of the promo

Fwiw, my normal stakes are 25nlz but it was fun to splash around at 2nlz for a bit for this promo

Meh. The EV of the prize is only slightly above $50, and it requires 3-4 hours of 8-table Zoom grind (6K-7K hands) on average. Leave alone that chasing a straight flush to the extreme (seeing the flop with 54s from UTG, etc.) requires playing losing poker (like -10 bb/100 at NL2), so the overall EV is less than $50. My hourly winrate in my normal games is bigger than $15, and I have to play way fewer hands an hour there.

You're right it may not be worth it for players like you who are making more than the EV of the promo anyway on a regular basis. But it's actually very hard to lose at 2nl even with making a few speculative plays. My stats were 24/9 over the 4.5k sample I played but still was able to make 4 buyins pretty comfortably in addition to winning the promo.

^Congrats but sad you only got $20

Yes I am limping every damn suited connectors, calling with suited connectors, not betting on flop, turn, just calling.

Btw how many hands did you take to hit your straight flush? I've played 1k hands 5nl 6max 4 entries, was 4 times close to a straight flush but couldn't hit.

Anyway I got this but not a straight flush yet

Lol unlucky there. It took me 4.5k hands to make it, but could vary from person to person. Not sure how coon74 came up with the 6-7k hand estimate? Sounds about right tho, as long as you stick to the strategy.
