Yeah it is a horrible decision from Stars. As one would expect lately. ****ing morons. Now I do log in on my tablet to play, but what about those windows user that don't have a tablet or smart phone?

Does stars not think people care about support response time?
10 years of 10-20 minutes response time was amazing. Now I am waiting 2-12 hours in some cases.

Short term gains are all good I guess, gl retaining players like you used to though.

Two hours is still a very good response time for a company with such a large client base. Some don't respond for a day or two. That's not to say the quality of the responses themselves haven't greatly declined, but the initial response time is not the issue.

Pretty funny the lack of response to the new promo, when the blog article tried so hard to emphasize what a "fun time" the "ridiculously huge events" were going to be

If the promo's similar to last time with shootouts, guess the chances of winning might be quite a longshot? Wish they brought those $1mil freerolls back, even though there was like 100k of us playing - it was fun when everybody got to cash, even though the prizes weren't so big.

Because the "reward" is not worth all the amount of play and time you have to spend to get it, and then realize the prize can be as low as 5% of your nl limit, and then again realize that you are not elegible to participate until the next day... i mean come on!

Milestone hands were good tho. Shame they dont offer that anymore.

Seems they're awarding FPP's as part of the shootout thing, maybe they're changing the name again? Or maybe another "theoretical" prize.

The shootouts are always a bit meh, could be an interesting promo if you got to play the tournaments (even a hyper structure).

I'm intrigued by the new promo, but the link to the 2015 page is pretty misleading. I'm trying to figure this out, is it just gonna be a repeat of the 2015 version but with some small changes (FPP becomes starscoin etc.)? Or has there been a mistake and there will be no millionaire month, or will it be a very different promotion this time round?

Just checked to see if anything new popped up at midnight - am just seeing those silly April Fool tourneys they run every year ...

Gosh, was hoping there'd be more details about the Millionaire Maker promo before tomorrow's big Sunday Million, since that was supposed to be the kick-off to the promo. Am impatient to hear more! Guess will have to wait until sometime Monday?

Tried my luck on a handful of those $5 Sunday Million Spins and didn't wind up winning a ticket ... although had a chance Oh well, can try again next year - will be able to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine tomorrow afternoon, and then come home and follow all the action from the Twitch rail, so that should be fun.

Basically the Pokerstars Makes Millionaires promo contains :

- 1 Mil $ spins with a $10 BI (starting 2 april) - the rake on these is 8% (so the BI doubled but the rake stayed the same - compared to the prior $5 1M spins)....really stars ? even the SM spins have a 7% rake (at 5$ BI) ...gl with this rake trap...

- The 10M gtd SM (on 2 apr);

- PokerStars Championship Monte Carlo – (25 apr - 5 may).. probably included here because the prize up top will be at least $1M;

- Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) (30 april - 23 mai);

- the Millionaire Challenges (staring 10 april)...basically this is the only thing exciting from the whole promo...there will be a some kind of a final tournament (prob shootout) where the winner will be awarded 1 million.. Every day there will be 3 challenges from which you could qualify for the final (odds will be super slim obv). I remember they did this last year too...the final tournament was a shootout which had ~ 40 players.

How are these players able to enter these freerolls?

Looks like those freerolls are taking about 2-2.5hrs to play? Wonder if everybody rushed to use their freeroll tickets today, and maybe they'll have fewer people in like a couple of weeks? Or better to play today before the mass emails go out?
