problem with 1 million freeroll is now we have to wait 19 days for another promo

this was only one idea that came in mind. the content and topics are something we should discuss. it's nice to see that someone shares my opinion. the stars microcosmos offers so much content itself that it would be easy to create a lot of content on a daily basis. Giving sime screennames and avatars faces and a voice would be really cool imo. The big pros and stars are so far away... An interview with an normal guy who took his shoot at the Sunday Million and cashed big would be really refreshing for this environment. Thats something a lot more guys can find themself in instead of guys travelling from one ept mtt to the next...

Has anyone else gotten a Birthday gift from Stars?




Seem to recall someone posting something about getting a Birthday gift a couple of years ago, and it seemed like they maybe only send gifts to fish ... suppose me getting a Birthday gift must serve as further confirmation that this is the case




This is the first time have ever received a gift from Stars though - so never noticed before that my Birthday's wrong in the client lol The month is right


Some other fun stuff - had signed up for a lot of emails from local restaurants, to get recipe ideas, and some of them sent me coupons for free stuff as well (good for a week or two). Maybe some of the local restaurants in everybody else's neck of the woods give out free stuff at Birthday time as well?

Can't say i've ever seen or heard of that 'birthday gift' before...MY birthday was a couple of months ago and I didn't get anything from Stars. Must only be for 'special' people such as yourself.

To those of you that register those $500 all in daily freeroll from the tickets earned, is there a way to find out if you ever cashed in one of these or not? Thus does it show up in your history?


The reason i ask this is because i think i have registered to at least 35 of these minimum, i dont think once i even cashed in these.

Pauly, was just checking my pokerprolabs.com page, and it looks like at least some of those $500 freeroll shootout thingies are tracked - but haven't been paying very careful attention, so am not sure if all of them have been tracked?

The site has some pretty good filters that they let us use for free, so that's pretty nice to not have to pay to see everything ...

If you request tournament history you will see them there.

I enter them every day that I don't forget and have only min cashed I think 2 times all year. So not cashing in 35 would not be unusual.

I've registered for the shootout at least 100+ times over the last few months and yet have only ever cashed twice ($1 and $5).

With well over 10000 players per shootout and only a couple of hundred places paid, the chances of cashing are extremely slim.

i have selected NO next to Casino&Vegas in communication preferences. despite that today i recieved news popup after login about some blackjack and other casino bull****. can you please stop? i am not interested!

I miss the days where the promo's were huge and something to really look forward to. A couple of years ago they used to all be different, which made them fun. Now all the challenges or news that I get is blackjack challenge or something like that. And if there's ever a poker promo it's always the same card match cash game promo. It's a shame and sad to see, the promo's used to be exciting

Couple of years ago (I think) Stars had this short happy birthday promo where you were guaranteed to win $10 if you make a $30 deposit if invited. Sadly I didn't get invited and I remember I created a thread here and asked members if they ever received any birthday gift. Couple of guys posted they got $11 sunday storm ticket. I hope you got at least $10 worth of spin n go tickets

Remembered you posting in that thread! Couldn't remember what everybody else's gifts were though ... my gift was five $1 Spin & Go tickets, but could swear part of the prize was some run-good to go along with them - have been making the most amazing hands (<- me in my tin foil birthday hat ) Have only played three so far, and only got the 2x multiplier, but am up to $6 so it's looking like a pretty nice gift so far - would be lovely if everybody were to get a gift, since the rake is so high!

All-In - copied from GGnetwork's All-In-Or-Fold Jackpot.
Beat the Clock - probably copied from 888's BLAST combined with Stars' own Timebomb MTTs.
Spin & KO - copied from Party's Sit & Go Hero.

All these formats (except the Holdem version of All-In-Or-Fold*) are rather unsolved and thus allow for longterm edges but Amaya has apparently run out of fantasy.

The Duel Arena looks like just a desktop version of the formerly projected mobile-only Duel app that failed miserably during the Norway and NZ beta test because it was lagging too much on a significant share of Android devices.
