PokerStars Problem

Hey ppl new poster to 2+2. Iv been having an ongoing problem with pokerstars for the last 2 years. Basically my acc was hacked and the villian used a fake or stolen credit card to run up chargebacks on my acc. since then stars closed down my acc and will not reopen it until i pay the chargebacks. i tried to discuss it with there customer care but they litterally copy and paste the same robotic response. has anyone else had this problem before, or does neone no were i could get help with this? thanks all

Re: Stars Problem

Try to get their security department to investigate to see if they used your account to chip dump to another account. Ie if most of the money is lost to 1account that account is probably the guilty party and should be culpable for the chargebacks.

Just pay the money you owe and be done with it. How could you let this debt linger so long?

Re: Stars Problem

Their secuirty dept would check into the theft. they would check IP's and who they lost the money too. Either way, it was your account that lost the money and thsat means its your debt

Re: Stars Problem

How did you convince your bank to do the chargebacks, and why won't pokerstars accept the same evidence? If this story is true, people who say he should pay are crazy. If somebody steals your cc, buys stuff, but your bank reverses it, do you go the store and pay for their goods?

Re: Stars Problem

You made this account only for this and that`s the screenname you chose???
srsly: check the legal situation, and maybe never play on PS again or pay what you owe.

If you PM me your PokerStars screen name I'll ask security to take another look at this for you.
