My "fix" for the audio issue has been to end the windows audio whatever process that shows up in task manager and shows as using a large amount of cpu %. It kills all your pc audio for a couple minutes but then the audio comes back as normal for another 2-3 hours again. Just repeat as needed. DPs method is probably more legit though.

Best solution in my opinion is settings>global >sound> disable sound effects unless you need sound to play while a fix is worked on.

You were allowed to grab the software early under different conditions. What will be offered to the public will be different with different conditions!

I'll forgive it too, and I'm happy pokerstars is back but a 40% difference is a pretty big mistake imo. The bonus is still better than the free $50 for me, but I'm not so sure I'll clear the whole thing at 140 vs the 100.

Just curious as I live in a bubble (no cable/news) but has stars been doing any advertising here in Jersey for the launch?
I have yet to see/hear any but like I said I live in a bubble so am curious.

Well when I signed up I had to select where I heard about stars and you had to pick a choice so I picked tv. They had a list of networks to choose from like espn fox nbc etc.

The fact that they have this leads me to believe that they will have commercials but certainly not starting till monday (regular launch). Would be sweet to have some on during hoops games.

If betfair can have a dumb commercial every hour for their lame casino, stars certainly can (plus stars has a casino too)

Not sure if known bug but chip stacks are not displaying in tournament lobby for the Sat kick off. confirmed by others at my table.

Edit only first half are displaying now.

I'm pretty sure that only the top 100 chip stacks are displayed. You should be able to see click on any table and see all the stacks at that table.

Confirmed: when registration is still open, it only shows the top 100 stacks. When registration closes, it shows them all.

And there's still $500 in free money available ;-).

My only complaint is the sound. Get it fixed and things are golden. With me I get sound on the first table that I open up. If I move the location or open a 2nd one. I lose all sound. It's not a major problem, it's just nice to be alerted when it's time to act.

Bummer. I guess I'm going to the DMV Tuesday... So I can play internet poker.lol. hope I can get this resolved before the 25k freeroll.

The funny thing is that the same papers that are notgood enough for psnj are the exact ones I'm going to use successfully to prove my I'd to the DMV/state to get my photo I'd. Good enough to get a drivers lisense but not good enough for spinNgos. Mkay

Whatevs got to go ruin a Tuesday at the DMV. I'll live.

Hi Dylan, I've contacted support three times now about having the STARS600 bonus applied to my account (including retroactively, since I've collected almost 4k VPP already) but I still do not have it reflected in my account. One of the responses I'd gotten from a rep said that they were a bit busy with them and would get to it, but this was a few days ago and I just don't want to be forgotten

Can PM my username if you can help get the ball rolling. I'm a patient guy so I don't mind waiting, just don't want to miss out.
