Is this whats to expect in playing here again? I get there will be bugs in the beginning. But a simple response acknowledging would be nice.
Have you had any luck getting this worked out with Support? If not, send me a PM and I'll do what I can.

2. Hyper Turbo Qualifiers - I used to grind the 6-max SNG's that would award $11 seats, which you could unreg and get T$ for. Will those be offered?
3. T$ - Will you be able to buy/sell T$ on the NJ site?
4. You can only claim the "FREE50" promo or the $600 100% Promo, not both, correct?
Thanks for the help in advance. Words can not express how happy soon being able to play for real money on Stars again for the first time in nearly 5 years will make me! WE MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!!
1. We won't be running the same limits as COM. Regarding adding new limits, traffic and demand will be monitored on a regular basis to make these decisions.
2. Yes, for our $10 Sunday Storm. Qualifiers should be running next week.
3. As per regulatory requirements, this option won't be available.
4. Correct, it's one or the other, not both.

Where are you supposed to enter it? I looked for it on every page through the deposit process and never saw it. Did I miss it or is it not showing for some reason?
I wanted to use the "Free50" code. Player name FtheNYY (Red Sox fan, obviously lol)
This issue should now be fixed, but if you contact Support with the bonus deposit offer you wish, they will manually apply it to your account.

If you have a ROW account, your FTPs will be converted to StarsCoin at a rate of 1 StarsCoin per 2.5 FTPs this spring when the merging of player pools happens. For players who went through the Quick Account Creation process and have only an NJ account, this is the issue I'm waiting to get clarification on (in terms of how it will work). As I've stated earlier, we'll arrive at a fair resolution so there's no reason to not create an account waiting on these details.
Regarding transferring VIP status, I can't imagine a scenario where a player will have a higher FTP status than PokerStars NJ status at the time of the merge and want it transferred. For your ROW account, you will receive the higher of the two statuses you hold at the time of the merge. For further questions about this, I suggest contacting
vipclub@pokerstarsnj.com to discuss.

I did this as you know, (by mistake) so I now have my ROW PS account as my NJ account. If I were to move abroad and play with ROW players (it's a likely possibility) I'd be able to create a new account and play anonymous? I could be missing something here, but if this is in fact true it seams awful. ROW accounts should never be able to convert to NJ accounts, your ROW account should always remain your .com account, no?
This opens up another door to established, well known regs coming over to NJ to convert their .com accounts to NJ accounts. Then flying back to wherever they live abroad and opening a new account, since their ROW account has now been converted over to NJ. They could essentially continue to play against ROW players, yet anonymously under a new screen name. This would basically change their online identity, which is obviously a big no.
If this is already covered as it may very well be, how about a player who hasn't yet activated their ROW account since Black Friday (me) but always wanted to? They can now come to NJ for a weekend if they don't already live in the state, convert their ROW account to their NJ account (as I did), then move abroad and take the steps in opening a new account. Even though their previous account (now their NJ account) was a well known online handle back in the day, etc.
I could be missing this completely and this may have already been covered by support and I missed it. If so just disregard this.
This is a slightly complex issue. I'll do my best to clarify.
Not anyone can stop by New Jersey and migrate to PokerStarsNJ. At present, in order to play Real Money games on PokerStars NJ you must have a Social Security Number (SSN) in order to complete account verification. We are also suggesting to US residents living outside NJ to create new PokerStars NJ accounts and maintain their old ones.
Furthermore, non-US residents visiting New Jersey are unable to create PokerStars NJ accounts, as you can only create a PokerStars NJ account if you have a valid SSN, a US postal address, and can meet the verification requirements.
In regards to why we would implement a Quick Account Creation process which closes your COM account, while there may be technical reasons that I'm unaware of, some of the main benefits include allowing a quicker account creation process by letting players use their old details (and keep their old UserID which we thought many players would like), and we can acknowledge past play via this method. For the majority of our PokerStars NJ players, there isn't a need to maintain their old COM account anymore.
Regarding your situation where you inadvertently closed your ROW account and wished to maintain it, this is something our Security and/or Game Integrity team will have to look at when you wish to play abroad. These are usually dealt with on a case by case basis, but I will ask if there's a formal policy on how this will be dealt with for PokerStars NJ players. I suggest contacting
security@pokerstarsnj.com as I won't be able to to discuss your specific case on 2+2, nor am I the authority on this.
Hope this clears things up a bit, but if you have followup questions I'll do my best to get you answers.

the same papers that id verified me on borg, party,888,wsop are no good for psnj and just my luck i dont have the very papers that they are asking for now (a drivers license, gov id, or passport. )
i hope this is just a beta glitch and ill be good to go. after all i was already id verified.
so has anyone else been id verified and then unverified or just me?
Unfortunately, the agent who originally handled your initial verification made an error. I believe our Verification Team has been in touch with you in regards to what you need to provide in order to be fully verified. I'm sorry about the mix-up and hassle this has caused.
Our policy requires photographic government issued ID, which could be a Driving Licence, Passport, US-issued Visa or Military ID card. An alternative option is to visit the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and obtaining a State Identification Card.

Yes, you would create a new account.

Please ignore those dates. For this promotional offer of a VIP status based on your play history, all VIP statuses will be maintained (regardless of how much you play) until the end of June. On July 1st, your status will be based on how many VPPs you earned in June. For Supernova VIPs, you will maintain your VIP status until the end of the year, with no maintenance requirements.

I know Ultimate sent you a free one if you needed it when they operated in NJ.
There is a known issue with the purchase process of the Wireless dongle that is being looked into. Will let you know when I have an update.

Just want to add a problem to the list so you can fix it. The shortcuts Stars created on my desktop when I installed it start to open the program looks like its loading, but nothing ever appears. Same for the quicklaunch button.
I opened Stars from the C:/PokerStarsUSNJ location, but when I tried to drag it to my desktop to make it easier in the future, it said to contact support when I tried to open it.

Has support been able to help you resolve this?

Every site I've ever played on works like this:
You accumulate player points at rate X, this rate never changes but as you go up in VIP tiers those points become more valuable. As in when you are bronze player you can exchange your 100 player points for 5 dollars but when you are a gold player you can exchange your same 100 player points for 10 dollars. Basically all your play which happened when you were a bronze player you receive rakeback at whatever the highest level you earn that month or year is, it's all retroactive.
My understanding of the pstars system:
It seems like the way stars does it is that value of the points never changes (I am currently silverstar but still the only coins exchange I see is the bronze level 1000 coins per 10 dollars) you just earn more of them per "step" as you increase in tiers. So my play that is happening while I am at a bronzestar level I am only receiving an effective rakeback rate of 8-9% right?
So on stars you only get rakeback at whatever level you are at at that particular time? When I get to supernova, only from that point forward will I be receiving supernova level rewards/rakeback? All my play before that will be rewarded based on my level of whatever I am at each given point in time? It isn't retroactive like most VIP systems?
I have this all correct?
And if I do have it all correct that means there is no reason to wait to exchange your coins right? You might as well just do it every time you hit 1000?
As another poster has explained, the main benefit to a higher VIP status is that you are earning StarsCoin at a higher rate. The size of your Steps increase, but so do the StarsCoin reward for completing them at an increasing rate. StarsCoin are valued at $0.01 for all VIP Cash Rebates, Tournament Tickets, and merchandise, so you get the same value no matter what you choose to spend your StarsCoin on.

Thanks.
On iPhone if you click on More --> Account & Balance and scroll down to the Account Status section, you can see your StarsCoin balance, VIP Status, and monthly and yearly VPPs. We will also be adding your Steps progress to this section in the near future (e.g. Step x of y). You can purchase VIP Cash Rebates and Tournaments tickets in the mobile VIP Store. Physical merchandise can only be purchased on the desktop client.

IN essence do you just gain VPP's faster as you move up levels or do they actually pay you cash back like raketherake.com and such companies did back in the day?
To receive cash, you need to purchase VIP Cash Rebates in the VIP Store. StarsCoin are valued at $0.01, so if you're looking for cash you can purchase the 1,000 StarsCoin $10 cash rebate as many times as you want, with no play through requirements.
