Thought I'd throw in that I'd love low to mid stakes h.o.r.s.e., 8 game mix tournaments. I like 7 card stud tournaments too but it looks like you already have those.

Btw, I don't live in nj, but if you add these tournaments and can get some ok traffic going, I'll move there. Lol

My recommendation until this is resolved (and I'm told the fix may take a while) is to wait until you are physically located in New Jersey to sign-up, go through the Quick Account Creation process, in order to be eligible for a VIP Status and StarsCoin balance based on your play history.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

i am in NJ. (its just my pokerstars address thats not) been in my room at the taj mahal. i wrote support, they said they were forwarding my email to another dept so i guess theres a wait.

in other news, its great to see 8 games mix and 50-50 sngs included. was worried both might not be. also 5 card plo8.

greatest day in the history of online poker. to cap it off, bovada started accepting bitcoin today too.

I would click that and back to the same page etc...

this describes the same issue i told dylan. only difference, i never gave in (by creating a new pokerstars ID) i decided to wait for support to email me back first.

Anyone who is having verification problems, do not update your address or any information. It autofilled my old address. I put my new address in and got error. Leaving the old address in worked. It seems to want you to input the information as it was on pokerstars in April 2011,possibly phone number as well. Try your old information if anything changed since then.

You can even make them reentries with 10k starting stack and 5min blind levels. Would also like to see a $7500gtd $10rebuy starting at 8pm. Also there is room for a few superturbo Mtts to end the night, from like the 1130pm-2am timeframe. Perhaps an 1130pm $15 superturbo with $750gtd, a midnight madness $20 superturbo with $1k guaranteed, and a 1230am $10 superturbo with $500 guarantee. Please add these, Tyty!

The 1100 and midnight you are asking for are pretty much there--- 20 1K Hyper at 11 and 30 1K at 12.. - so, good to look at offerings before asking for more, it just creates an overlap and your posting very well might be ignored-

There are enough tourneys for NOW, what they need are different formats like 1 20-30 HU tourney at 800 perhaps and a 20 dollar rebuy - double addon at 900 or so with a 2500 guarantee would change it up

Apologies for the confusion, it is 5.5 VPPs per dollar except for Microstakes where it is:

$0.01/$0.02 10 VPPs per dollar
$0.02/$0.05 8.5 VPPs per dollar
$0.05/$0.10 7 VPPs per dollar

I'll make sure the bonus page is updated as well as SNG/Tournaments lobbies.

Stakes offered will be reviewed on a regular basis, and the current offering does not necessarily reflect what you'll see a month from now.

While we take player feedback into consideration, there are no current plans to offer heads-up cash games at launch, or in the immediate future.

I've emailed support about this and he basically told me it was a one shot type of deal, and said I'm stuck with my old PS sn now on the NJ site? I obv don't want this, I'd prefer to create a new acct for NJ and keep my PokerStars.com acct for if I ever move abroad and want to play against ROW players on my normal PS acct.

Can a rep please PM me? I'll prob just fwd this message to PS admins on here in hopes it can be cleared up.
I responded to your PM, but as another poster pointed out, the Quick Account Creation process closes your previous .COM account and is not reversible. Players wishing to maintain their ROW account must open a new PokerStars NJ account with a new UserID, and aren't eligible for the welcome offer of a VIP status and StarsCoin balance based on play history (but are eligible for the First Deposit Bonus offers and everything else).

For any confusion regarding VIP status or how this process works, don't hesitate to contact vipclub@pokerstarsnj.com.

I have shared all your feedback with our Tournament manager for his review and consideration. Please note that the initial offering will be reviewed daily and may be changed on a weekly basis in response to traffic growth. The MTT schedule in a few months from now should look quite different than the schedule next week.

Thanks,
Dylan

3rd party software policy for NJ is the same as for our other licenses. You can read about it in detail on our Third Party Tools and Services FAQ here:

In order to hide the Casino Games Navigation from your PokerStars lobby, please follow these 5 steps:

Open the PokerStars software and sign in to your account
Click on the 'Settings' tab on the right side of the main lobby
Select 'Lobby' > 'Lobby Display'
Uncheck the 'Show Casino Games' option, click 'Apply Changes' and then 'OK'
Restart the software client so the change takes effect

Ref: https://www.pokerstars.com/help/arti...-hiding-games/

Works on the other clients so should be the same for NJ

I can get on board with hu zoom.

I'm a big fan of zoom in general and would love to see it for 6max at 1/2 and 2/5, I think both would run

Not sure/don't care whether it's the same as the ROW site, but it's noticeably better than the other NJ sites. 4.5% instead of 5.5% at most NL tables, and $.50 rake cap instead of $1 rake cap at HULHE. That means Limit Holdem games might actually happen on Stars, because game starting reg v. reg won't be prohibitively pricey.

No update yet.

Our product team will be working today to address as many of the issues that arose last night as possible. I'll aim to provide an update later today on where we're at before the start of today's 4pm session.

Dylan,

I was not talking about hiding the casino software I was actually talking about self exclusion casino where you could you suspend your casino and just play poker stars poker. Is that a feature ?

Tools > Responsible Gaming should have all the blocking options.

yes i am thrilled about the mtt schedule. its a step up from the other sites for sure and i like the buy in mix. i know many are ballers w hundreds if not thousands every month to potentially blow on tourneys but not everybody can do that regularly.

i see those offerings as a huge step up as the other sites dont put as much up by way of guarantees and not spread across so many mtt's. have to see how they do. i hope they crush their guarantees.

+1 for HU tourney. hu cash isnt my thing but HU tourney would be nice

Dylan,

I posted last night, but you might have missed it.

I tried to convert my old PS account using the quick creation option and it gave me an error. A box popped up that said "Warning" Please email support@pokerstarsnj.com for assistance.

So I did and am waiting. But it also shows me logged on with my name and old icon and everything so I'm a bit confused.

If I click Cashier and try to deposit the Account Creation prompt pops up again.

I still haven't received an email response from support...

Just a reminder that this Friday night from 5:30pm-7:30 pm Jason Somerville, Lee Jones, and a few other members of PokerStars NJ staff will be hosting a low-key Meet & Greet in the Jersey City area for former VIPs to get feedback and answer any questions players may have. If you would like to attend but didn't get an invite and have a relatively active play history on PokerStars, you can send me a PM to be dealt in.

Then this Saturday from 1pm-3pm Jennifer Shahade, Lee Jones, and some PokerStars NJ staff will be hosting another near Resorts in Atlantic City. Same rules apply.

Thanks,
Dylan

Anyone know if I can trust the wifi in atlantic city casinos? I get free rooms there whenever and it would be nice to drive up and post up for a few days to play online.
