Same. The error I posted above happened after I got to the same screen, then it updates and clicks off right before it's finished.

I unfortunately have to sign-off from this thread for the night, but will be back tomorrow to try to address as many unanswered questions as possible.

Thanks to all who helped us by taking part in today's first day of testing. Despite the hiccups, it was thrilling for myself and colleagues to see players finally playing on PokerStars NJ. Under in-cleint News, the $600 bonus description mentions 5 VPP earned per dollar rake/fee. Under the VIP FAQ, it states 5.5 VPP per dollar, and the client tournament/SNG lobbies say they are awarding 6.5 VPP per dollar (when you do the math).

I'm finally in. I downloaded it on my iPhone. I just created a new account and my old account was closed. Just wondering how much cash are people depositing...

Is $5/$10 planned to be the highest cash game? Or is that just for the soft launch?

I emailed support on this but the quick account thing didn't work for me and had a few questions

None of my details were moved over.

I was forced to create a new name

I am the lowest tier possible instead of the highest (which I was in 2011)

More or less this process was a disaster for me. It kept asking me if I lived in Del,NJ NY or somewhere else or another slot asked if I lived elsewhere. I would click elsewhere and it would dl the the reg stars software, then it would dl that then it would say on the reg main stars ROW software "click here to go to NJ". I would click that and back to the same page etc...

took about an hour then I created an acc

Hello Dylan,

I know you said games that are being offered are under constant review. I would like to suggest heads up cash games. Anyone else that wants to see this happened please +1 this post. Lets see if this is the first thing they can listen to their customers about and change.

Now I'm getting a message that they cannot verify my location.. anyone else getting that? It was working fine earlier and I am in a heavily populated area with wifi signals galore..

Almost certain it's just for soft launch. Highest 8 Game mix was 1/2. They will be bumped up

wooohooo got id verified. anyone else having problems just email verification@pokerstarsnj.com and send them pics of your ss card and other id papers. i was verified with in an hour after sending stuff to them

getting id verified on the other njipoker sites took me 5-8 days. good to see pokserstars customer service still kicking ass.

They have great response time but im still have a problem. They emailed me confirming that they accepted my documents and that that last thing to do was to go to "Cashouts" and go through the three step verification. Well, its still telling it can verify my account once I get to step 3.

Any hints?

that sucks. thats what i did after i got my email i went to cashier and the clicked cashout and filled it in and everything was ok. all the fields except my phone were already filled out and had a green check mark next to them.

id click out of psnj and relaunch. dont know what else to do beside emailing them again. gl

I have an e-mail out to them and I'm sure they be good about responding quick. Maybe they forgot the flip the switch on their end but told me im good to go anyway...oh well at least we have the rest of forever to sort it out

The guideline prompts to creating a new acct/using old account were confusing. Maybe it's just me and a skimmed through it too fast idk. However, my Stars Coins and VIP Status were rolled over, but I was never asked to create a new username, I have my old PS name just on PokerStars NJ now.

I've emailed support about this and he basically told me it was a one shot type of deal, and said I'm stuck with my old PS sn now on the NJ site? I obv don't want this, I'd prefer to create a new acct for NJ and keep my PokerStars.com acct for if I ever move abroad and want to play against ROW players on my normal PS acct.

Can a rep please PM me? I'll prob just fwd this message to PS admins on here in hopes it can be cleared up.

Day 1 - Success: Grinded out the Spin & Go's successfully - really enjoyed them, the only issues were minor lag with the client (mainly in casino) in the first 4 hours and then at random times all my system audio (Windows 10) would get choppy to the point I would be forced to restart. Other than that everything was great and I can't wait until Friday

Happened to me, I emailed them again and they told me to try again, this time they entered my social and I went through and deposited and everything worked out.

Looks like you used the quick account creation window, they mentioned not to do that and use the create new account, which is how i did and was able to create new one and not use existing ID

It says to click the quick account creation if you're in NJ, Delaware, Nevada etc or something along those lines I remember seeing. The other box is if you're outside NJ and need to create a new acct, I tried clicking that one first (after seeing posts about it), only to have the main PS client download, weird. Emailed support and PM'd PS Dylan about it, hopefully get it resolved but not the end of the world if I have to use my old PS acct.

Unfortunately, we are not able to increase your deposit limits at this time. Your account does not currently meet the required criteria to increase your limits and will need to have some more history with the account and deposits, before we are able to grant an increase. Please contact us again in 1-2 months when further deposits have cleared to see if we are able to increase these limits for you.

In the meantime you may use other methods for depositing.

I emailed support about if and when they would raise the deposit limits for Visa and ACH as they currently are around $640 (Visa) and $750 (ACH) per day. Maximum for week and month are not that high either.

Might seem like a lot for some but for a midstakes player this is 2 to 4 BIs. Skrill is a slightly better option but after getting off the phone with them I have to wait a week to get money on there. Neteller is not an option for me.
