Most tournaments now a days are not rebuys. They are re entries. So you pay the house fee multiple times. The difference is you must bust to reenter, where in traditional rebuy you could top up. This way they profit more, its the only reason. Instead of 100+20 for example with $100 rebuys, you would reenter the tournament for $120 and they keep the $20 again.

You might think so, but some "regs" just seem to love paying rake...and racking up as many min-cashes as possible...which contributes nicely to their already -ROI...but don't worry, they have an "edge".

So, there is supposed to be the daily slots challenge going on right now, but it only showed up yesterday in the promo window. Also, I don't see the first $500 aipf freeroll that was supposed to have run today at 4:47 (I think, I know it's not in my registered in tourneys any more), but in previous iteration you could find it and see how you did. Did this actually run or is something bugged? (well, something other than it not showing up today despite still getting the message that it is running daily and to "click here" to start it).

When using a hotkey for Fold before it is your turn to act, the software used to simply select the "fold" checkbox. After the last update, you can no longer uncheck the box to undo that action.

does CardMatch not show up in anyone else's challenge window? i don't see it even though it says in ToS that it started already. i only see Slots and Blackjack challenges...

Can we make a suggestion to improve the MTT's during the week? It seems like the Big $50 and the Big $30 do not start a lot of the time and for good reason. The Big $50 only offers an $1800 guarantee versus the Big $20 which offers a $1500 guarantee. Obviously its way better ROI by playing the $20 which is lower risk for almost the same amount of money to be won. Now the bigger buying might get less players which some may prefer but still, I think Stars could make a change to help them get more entrants as well as making more money for the site. Maybe make the guarantee for the Big $30 and Big $50 higher? like 2k for the $30 and 3k for the $50? Obviously if it ends up costing Stars money it would be a no go but I hardly see these two tournaments starting. Maybe I'm behind the curve on this thought process. Open to thoughts.

I'm an iPad player, and the CardMatch has NEVER worked 100%. Sometimes the start button appears, but not always. When it does start, it never seems to keep up with progress. I'll see 40% match but only 2 cards checked off. In a 2nd (or more) window, I don't get any info. I'm pretty sure only the first table has been counting, unsure if that's the way it's supposed to work.

Looks like the Sunday Special LIVE and Megastack is coming to Resorts this October. So, where's the live cash games at?

I am a NY resident who had played on Pokerstars NJ for a few weeks while I was there in the spring.

I requested a cashout via the debit card option in March. Fast forward to June, I had not received the card.

I exchanged many, many emails with support and they determined that they had sent the card with my account balance to the wrong apt # (I don't understand how or why, and they did not provide a tracking #), and were resending it.

It's now almost August. I still have not received the debit card. I haven't even received a tracking number for it. I spoke to support today, and now they are claiming that not only are there no funds in the account, but I owe them money for "maintenance." However, I have never received a dime of the money that's in my poker account, or the received the card cashout that I requested.

I logged in and can see that my account still does have the exact balance it had after my last session.

Each time I try to explain to support what's happening they give a new excuse, which almost always seems to be a non-sequitur. The amount I'm trying to cashout is relatively small, and it's getting to the point where it's costing me money to keep chasing it.

I'm at my wits end with PokerstarsNJ. Their support channels take an excruciating amount of time, and are staffed with incompetent people OR they are purposely withholding money from me (I don't know why they would do this so it makes no sense).

Has anyone else had this experience? What is going on with PokerstarsNJ?

Update:

Received another cryptic email saying that the card option may not be available to me. So, after almost 5 months of waiting on the Pokerstars play+ card (which I was repeatedly told was my only cashout option because I deposited with a card), I'm now being told that "may not be an option" to me. No answers on what has been going on for the past 5 months with these cards that were mailed wherever they were mailed, or why I was told my account was empty.

Maybe the rep can provide some clarity here? This is really testing my patience.

Does you living in New York make the bank account withdrawal option not available? How did you initially deposit? 5 months is too long for a withdrawal, bank withdrawal for me usually take a day or two but I live in NJ.

my main home is in ny, my bank has a ny addy , i have zero problems depositing from my bank account to nj pokerstars

I just go to AC withdrawl, if theres any errors or delays I just go talk to the casino manager in person

OK, so new challenge starts today. Win 6 hands in 25 minutes. I four table, win at least twice that many hands, and none of them register. Do your people ever do any testing before you do these challenges? Seems there's always problems with them.

OK, just got a reply from support. I didn't read the fine print well enough. Despite every other challenge being ok at .5/.10, this one is only for .25/.50 and up. I guess we're not spending enough money for PS.
