you will see the impact once you update the client (you should be forced to next time you close and re-open it).

But now 888 is backtracking and saying it was not intentional, after initially saying it would no longer be possible.

Thanks for the heads up.

The lack of communication/transparency on some of these "changes" is unbelievable IMO.

Seems there has been increased interest in 5card PLO as of late at 1/2 -- would be nice to get 2.5/5+ stakes added in the next software update. I know you said you'd pass this suggestion along several weeks ago -- is there any update you can provide?

honestly a big sigh of relief that this is just a bug. My initial thought when I realized the option was gone was that it had to be a mistake. Then reading the 888 rep's post + seeing email sent to other player (in the 888 support thread), it began to look pretty scary.

It would have been super shady if they just made a drastic change like that without communicating it to players whatsoever. I guess we may be without hand histories for some days at least while they get it fixed, but at least we will have them back eventually.

There gonna be a nj scoop?

Would be cool to get schedule out in advance so like, you know, people get excited for it and can plan on playing it

NJ SCOOP will run from May 6-22nd. Unfortunately can't reveal the detailed schedule yet, but hope that helps for planning purposes.

Help a noob out please?

Just moved into NJ, what should I know before signing up? (Reference bonuses, initial sign up bonuses, rakeback, etc)
I don't even remember my old Stars screen name and the account was barren when Black Friday hit.

so figured id try spin n go challenge today. Realized at 11:56 PM that i had 80 points and registered for two tournaments. at 12 it reset to 0 so i opted back in, won both tournaments and i received no credit for the challenge from yesterday or today. Anyone experience anything similar?

Nice. I live in PA and will probably be airbnb most of the series. Will there be a low/medium/high buy-ins for tournaments or just one buy-in level? Not sure what they did last year...

Pokerstars account verification,
Anybody was asked to verify their account? They are asking for 3 things, which seems a bit much to me. They want the following:

- A copy of the front and back of your valid government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, identity card, etc.).
- Your signed Social Security card or a signed copy of your W9 form
- A clear image of you holding your identification document.

I don't have a problem sending a copy of my driver's license, but why the hell do they need a copy of my Social card? Is it just me, or are they asking for too much in this case?

This Spin N Go promo might be the worst thing ever for my bankroll. Is it hard to run $4K chips under EV over 27 of these when there's only $1.5K chips on the table? I'm 4 for 27 in these things this week. Getting smashed by raise callers with J6o and 52. Please end this and bring back Card Hunt.

Just fill out, sign and send them a W-9 instead of a copy of your social security card then.

The social security card or W-9 request is to verify/certify your social security number.

There will be two levels in NJSCOOP: High and Low. Schedule should be released late next week.

why is the schedule released so late?
04-18-2017 , 01:44 AM
I reached Supernova and now my counter is stuck at 2000. What's up with that?
04-19-2017 , 12:26 PM
The NJSCOOP schedule is out.
04-19-2017 , 12:39 PM
I assume event 11 high is a typo and buyin should be $200?

Also why is event 21 $300 for high and $20 for low? That ratio is by far the largest of all the events. The low version would be way better as a $30 or even a $50 for that format
04-19-2017 , 07:38 PM
also, will there be final table replays in the lobby after the series is over?

A friend and I are contemplating coming to NJ for SCOOP. Does anyone have AC room comps to sell (or other reasonable suggestions)? I have a few free or close to free nights at places, so don't need all 17 days. Airbnb for a couple nights to do laundry might be reasonable too. TIA

With the SCOOP upon us, I want to ask again, because I missed a few years of poker from BF until NJ's re-entry, what's the reason everything is a rebuy/add-on now? Why did freeze-outs disappear?

And what's the point of re-buy satellites? Shouldn't you just buy into the tournament straight if you're potentially going to spend more than that trying to win the seat anyway?
