i completed 2 puzzles so far playing .15/.30 and .25/.50....one was A-10 all suits and the other was all Aces. 4x each suit. Both times my prize was ONE Fukking dollar. Total waste of a promo

1. did anyone have a global reset of all settings last night like me? I had to turn back on auto muck and even 4 color deck etc. Also there is clearly new settings avaiable with regards to mucking hands.

2. what is the supernova deal. I was sn in april but did not get to 50k vpps/. but I got to 40k which should be prorated for supernova right? Also, I stopped trying to pursue sn renewal in november because I heard news that they are getting rid of all that. I'll try to find the source where I read that but now I am a gold star or whatever and wish I knew exactly what the vip program is for this year.

3. I emailed support about a 5500 stars coins step i had 92% complete on new years eve. still no prorated compensation.

Been looking for a few <$20 buyin MTTs to play all day that aren't re-entry, re-buy (what the hell's the difference?), turbo, knockout, time bomb or multiple variations of those things. Also something that preferably doesn't keep late registration open for more than an hour. Anything remotely resembling a standard tournament exist anymore?

1. First I've heard of this, I'll look into it.

2. If you earned <50K VPPs in 2016 you'd be downgraded to a monthly status based on VPPs earned in December. As of January 1st, Supernova for PokerStars NJ can be earned monthly if you earn >6,000 VPPs in a month. It will be treated like any other monthly status meaning you would need to earn 6K VPPs the following month to maintain it. However, because this change requires a future client update, we are going to be upgrading players manually to Supernova in the meantime.

At some point in 2017 a new rewards program will be introduced (as previously announced) which will replace the current VIP Club and VIP Statuses. I don't yet have a date yet to share on this change.

3. We're aware on this issue, and you'll receive your prorated credit within 48 hours. Apologies for the delay, we were working through several technical issues from January 1st and this one slipped a bit.

Hey I'm living in New Jersey for 3 months soon, my gf lives there and I will be spending half the year there this year... I think I will be on the tourist visa though I doubt il get a social security number from this right ? I will However have proof of address, will I beable to play on ps.nj or not ?

You need a SSN to play, no matter what. Not sure how it works, but maybe you can apply for one?

I missed a few years of poker from 2011 to 2015, but at what point did every single tournament have to be a re-buy (and/or KO)? Did this happen somewhere around 2013 or something?

This is why I've never played a tourney on this site. I'm terrible at tournaments but would love to spend stars coin and enter one. The problem is I won't have an edge against a guy who rebuys 12 times. I don't have an edge anyway in tourneys; now I really don't have an edge.

Why are those the only tourneys?

All I want in 2017 is one normal tournament where people put money in in the beginning. And people get money at the end.

The people who are complaining about the card hunt thingy really are likely just complaining about liquidity which is not pokerstars fault. They can't magically make more people in NJ.

The card hunt is worthwhile since all of my friends are not poker players like me and it's not exciting for them to play on pokerstars. But add a chance to win 5k every day and things get better.

NJ ipoker made 2.1 million last month. i casino made way more.

I place a 50cent 8 way parlay whenever ufc is on for all 8 underdogs to win. It's a sucker bet but pays about 5kish usually. It's just fun.

There is not going to be a flood of 1/2 players due to promotions. You build a room at the 10nl level. The card hunt promo is worth about 15 buy ins a month at that level which is huge rakeback for micros plus a chance to win 5k.

If they keep this up, you will hit a 50 or 100 dollar prize once a month. a 5 or 10 dollar prize about once a week. And an average of 2 bucks all other days.

One thing psnj does not lack is 50nl and 50plo games. It's like an epidemic. I don't understand why 50s are more popular than micros but thats just how it is.

But you bring up a good point about 888/wsopnj. They don't have a thread here and I won't post their omaha rake schedule in a pokerstars sponsored thread but for some reason the omaha rake is so low I think it's an error that I hope they never fix.

2 or 3$ rebuy turbos to 30$+ with a 3+ seat guar ( that would need about 15-20 runners to make the guarantee for 3 30$ tix and 25-30 for 3 50$ tix)

5$ reentry to 30's with a 3+ seat Guar


PSNJ really lacks in feeders into 50$+ daily mtts. it couldnt hurt PSNJ to try to get more players into 30/50$+ daily mtts through satts.

I have seen a foreigner playing on one of the other sites, but I'm not sure if they had an SSN or not, so you may be able to play on some of the other sites if not PSNJ

will the new 'seat me' feature that was announced for .com be rolled out into nj as well?

if i'm reading it correctly it's just eliminating table selection, which i don't care about and is obviously good for the games so would be fine. my only concern is there are other things mentioned that are not quite explained how they're going to be accomplished. also in the screen shot the one table says '6 players needed to start' does this mean tables will only run once a full table is ready to play? things like this will severely limit games from running in a market that already does not have a ton of liquidity

overall i think a lot of the changes announced would be good, i'm just concerned about blanketing .com changes to small markets like nj, and want to make sure you guys are monitoring things and realize that nj is a different market.
