What are the closest hotels / casino's to resorts with reasonable rates? On site, resorts wants $500 for fri & sat night. If I can get it cheaper some where close, where I can walk to resorts (obviously dont wanna wonder far off the boardwalk at night walking), Id rather do that.

Any tips? Im not too familiar with AC ive gone a few times but always stayed inside the borg.

You could just stay at the Borg and either drive or take a cab. I think Ballys and Caesars are pretty close to resorts; without any comps probably a few hundred for Friday and Saturday nights.

NJ pokerstars really needs some PSKO's or Bounty Builders in the 22$-55$ range. I feel once or twice a week with 2k and 5k GTD's would fill regularly.

Playing these NJCOOP PSKO's just reaffirmed how much fun they are and made me question besides the thrill once a week that's $250 BI they wernt available to the low- mid stakes MTT players.

I've looked on the site and I can't find a structure for this tournament or any phone number to call to check on that and the other questions stated above. I'm assuming the structure is at least as good as the structure they have posted for 2000 tourneys.

Thank you very much.
Hey Lego05,

I checked and the schedule is correct. It's just a fast Day 1 that features 30 minute levels with a 50,000 starting stack. You'll be playing 8 levels on Day 1, which will finish at around 12:30 or so. Players can register up until the start of Day 2.

Hope that clears things up.

Regards,
Dylan

Hi, Dylan:

Yes, that is helpful. Thank you. I was thinking maybe it would be a very short day 1.

A couple more questions though if you could check with the organizer. Sorry, but I can't find this information anywhere.

1. Are the levels longer on day 2? 30 minutes is significantly shorter than what I see on the structure sheet for other events. I do realize the stacks start out larger (although I'm not sure how much deeper because I don't know what the blinds start at); and

2. Is there a structure sheet somewhere? Or can you tell me what the blinds start at and how they increase each level?

Thanks. I appreciate it.

1. It's 30 minute levels on Day 2 as well. Blinds start at 50-100.

2. All the structures can be found on the PokerStarsLive.com website if you go to Festivals -> New Jersey. The structure sheets themselves are in big PDF file here: http://www.pokerstarslive.com/assets...Jersey_SOP.pdf

Hope that helps!

Got an email from Resorts today offering $49 room rates with $25 food credit AND $25 slot or match play on nights of Nov 29, 30 and Dec 1,5 and 6.

I'm a card holder there but dont give them any action so I'm guessing this is available to any Resorts cardholder.

How are the chairs where the tournaments will be held? I have a bad back, as do a lot of people, so I hope the chairs are halfway decent for the festival. Also, will backpacks be allowed? Also, is the resorts gym open 24hrs, or does it close at 7pm like Borgata's gym?

yo what happened to the Spin and Go lobby?? I have 10 dollar spins highlighted and it is registering me for 5 dollar spins....

EDIT: restarting the client fixed it but that seems like a pretty big bug though. first time this happened though in like 2 months of playing spins.

few questions hopefully someone can help with, tia

1)how does one obtain a pokerstars live card? is that just some sort of players card you get when you arrive?

2)Can i register for events through stars client if i dont yet have a PS live card?

3)If i register through the client is there a special place to pick up my receipts and seating assignments at the venue?

thanks

Maybe it's a hint that you should stop playing spins.

dont have the starscard. have one for other casino sites. i wouldnt think of getting one for stars because of its monthly fees. (most other sites waive the fees and they all use the same company to issue the cards. )
i guess if you dont have a bank account to transfer withdrawals to or wanted to use a visa card to deposit the stars card is the way to go.
personally i dont feel that stars even tries to run the visa cards and they just default to the pop up link to get you to open a starscard account to use a visa card. its so shady. i tried several months ago to deposit w a few visa cards onto stars that i know for a fact the bank does not decline gaming transactions (i use them on other sites no problems) but stars wanted me to open a starscard account instantly to deposit with that visa card at a fee of 3$ a month. i also did call the bank who issued my card and they told me that they didnt even have any attempt by stars to even run my visa card. thats kind of fishy. i wouldnt be suprised if stars just did the starscard visa popup window thing to make commission off the monthly fees generated by the starscards accounts.

Apparently you cannot cash out thru online banking...this quote from their t&c:

What about my cashouts?
Currently it is not possible to cashout your funds through PokerStars Instant Online Banking. Please visit our Cashout Policy for full information.

What's a good email for support? I'm in NJ for a wedding and trying to fire some tourneys. I forgot my password and can't get my account unlocked through the questions. I've emailed them and haven't got a response yet.
10-28-2016 , 11:25 AM
does anyone know where the NJcoop leaderboard is displayed? i can find the prizes but no leaderboard (saw the regular monthly one), seems odd they would have the promo but not let you check your standings
10-28-2016 , 04:41 PM
Dylan, will PS NJ be running sats for Bahamas?
10-28-2016 , 10:32 PM
can't seem to find it anywhere...is this $1k main a re-entry? can you enter once per flight? unlimited per flight? once total?
10-28-2016 , 10:50 PM
nvm, just got word that it's just a freezout, no re-entry
