I figure pokerstars Pa has a thread, now that Pokerstars in Michigan is legal now we should have one here as well!

I agree BUT i would be more excited if i could actually download the software to play hell i can not even beat the load of the client i may not have a chance on the tables BUT seriously i get to pokerstarsmi.com set up my account info and all downloaded some location junk then i go to download pokerstars and i get a front page with standard or custom download with standard checked so i leave it that way and i click the end user agreement at the end and nothing happens and there is no other options or buttons to click press or otherwise so pretty frustrated at this point. Emailed them they asked for log files after i explained to them i can not even get client to download so just going round and round and getting nowhere and getting there fast. If there is a rep here i am all ears and appreciate any assistance.

Yes of course i have and a couple other browsers and it is always the same thing. I go to pokerstarsmi.com where i set my account up,i hit download poker,it downloads and opens to a page asking if i want standard or custom download with standard already checked so i keep it that way at the bottom is an end user license agreement i click that to accept and then nothing!!! It will not continue to download anything there is no button to click or check to make it do so. Not on my end. I got a email Sunday that gave me back to pokerstarsmi.com ummm thanks but....Then they asked me for log files as i explained i can not even download it show them this information. I have sent this information to them and a screen shot of where my download is stuck at and it has been now 24 hrs and no response. Chit happens at start up i get it just frustrated at this point never had an issue like this before and really want to be able to use their product.

They've already raised several tournaments' guarantees by about 25%. Good sign!

How does depositing from your bank/cred union account work? Is it instant?

I had trouble depositing via paypal and CC but had no issues depositing straight from my little CU I bank at. Funds were in stars account immediately then took a few business days to show up in my CU transactions.

I used my debit card and initially it declined. Checked my e-mail and my bank flagged it as fraud. I told them it was legit. They let me re-run the deposit and it went through instantly.

Does anyone know if you can log in with an existing (original)Pokerstars account? I’d hate to signup only to get banned for multi-accounting. Also I’m sure I have a balance in my old account.

They are separate. You must create a new account for MI and deposit.

It would not let me convert my pre-black Friday account even though I could still log into it.

Just created a new MI account and so far so good.

From my experience on the PA Pokerstars, getting your avatars if they aren't standard can take months to get approved.

Just a wild question here. I understand that this is nearly impossible but what would be the stumbling blocks for Michigan to be able to join the Pokerstars main international site? Couldn’t they work out an agreement to tax just the Michigan players or something to that affect. I mean to a lessor extent that’s what they do for state compacts right?

It is just a dumb idea honestly. Why would any politician want USA money flowing to a bunch of third world countries. It will take a few years but once we get 15+ states sharing player pools that will be the greatest site in the world. Adding ROW countries just adds more pros, bots, etc.

What a shortsighted and weak take. The only way forward for getting back to the glory days in playing against international players. Your concerns are not really valid and to be honest you guys sound like you’re scared of the international players.
