Had the same problem and emailed stars about it with URGENT in the title.
Two minutes later chat pops up in the client.
They asked me if everything is fine again. (needed like 10-15 min to login as well)
I told them that Im still worried.
They investigate the issue, sent me this mail.

details related to the reason you are sending log files.
etc etc so i sent the logfiles and we will see what happens.

Strangely table ninja was acting up as well. Def scary moment.

happpening to me today too. i cannot log in as we speak. everytime i click log in nothing happens yet if i type my password incorrectly it asks me to retype it.
what is going on?

Is this a RSA Security Token problem?

It works to log in on mac, but not the windows client.

I had the same problem but I restarted my PC and it now works. I'm using a RSA token.

I press log in and input my password, and it never goes to the RSA screen. Happened for the first time about 20 hours ago and still won't work.

Open the program from the pokerstars program folder and run as administrator, should work.

Just had the same problem, ran Stars update and it worked.

Mine worked again last night but is once again buggered today. I've tried opening each different .exe, as admin, not as admin, everything, still won't work.

restarting the client also worked for me last night. same problem today, but again restarted client and it's fine. RSA token here too.

I restarted my computer and that fixed it, maybe it was the windows update that was messing with it.

Happened to me yesterday, happening again today.

Closed client and restarted, no luck. Used PokerStarsUpdate.exe and got to the RSA screen and was able to log in.

Couldn't get in this morning, updated Pokerstars, still didn't work, opened from Pokerstars folder then it worked.

PC restart was the thing that finally worked for me.

Had the same problem again.

I closed stars und went to the postgres folder and executed the "stop service.exe"
then started stars and I could login.
I don't know if this was the thing that fixed it or just random luck...

Interesting because when you enter an incorrect password, the incorrect password notification pops up.

where can i find ps.exe to download for pokerstars.com

im located in usa. i can no longer get on the pokerstars.com site so im on pokerstars.net, however, im have heard there is a ps.exe i can download that will get me back on pokerstars.com. any one know where i can find this download?
