First off, great work on the app Stars, really good. I'm gonna post any bugs I notice/possible improvements here (pretty much all my play has been on the iPad btw).

Firstly I would love to see bet size shortcuts like the desktop client. There's definitely screen space for this on the iPad.

Another big one is sit out next bb; it can be quite an effort ending a session while 5 tabling without this.

Auto top-up would be good (would be nice if your preferences for this and other similar stuff could be the same as the desktop client).

A proper hand replayer is another biggie (I'm thinking it could open up like another table).

I'd like to see more games as well (I get the impression this is coming anyway).

I've noticed that the 'Remember my buy-in amount' checkbox only works if you use 'Other amount'; if you use 'Maximum for the table', it doesn't remember it.

There is no option to 'not show this message again' for the notifications when buying in (e.g. you are joining a high speed table…..), which gets annoying after a while. Similarly, it would be nice to be able to turn of the 'are you sure you want to leave?' message when leaving a table you are already sitting out on.

I'd like to see the sit out etc buttons moved on the screen, to somewhere different than where the action buttons are. I've very nearly hit an action button because the table changed, when I meant to hit the sit out button.

What happens if you get a phone call during game play?

^poker players have no friends anyway

Could the app remember the way we like to sort tournaments (ascending/descending/players)?

Greetings. Anyone else had any success/failure getting this to run on a Galaxy Nexus? I'm interested as I'm currently choosing a new phone.

I'm surprised to hear it doesn't run - it is specifically quoted as one of the compatible devices on the pokerstars mobile website:

"Qoes PokerStars Mobile Poker work on all Android devices?
A:No. PokerStars Mobile Poker is designed only for mobile devices running Android™ 2.2 and

Came across quite an anoying bug, if you register for a tournament and are about to click the "ok" on the "are you sure you want to play this box" and at the same time a tournament starts and asks you to confirm that you are there (taking you to the table) the "are you sure you want to play box" freezes and i cannot access the ok button. i have to switch of the iphone and log back in otherwise i could not do anything but look myself being blinded out in the table in the background...

Could be solved by one of my earlier suggestions: pleas assume we are THERE from the start, not make us "take our seat" missing a blind occasionaly...

Thanks for the screen shot! Ours hasn't arrived yet.

We start working on this next week, but it will be at least 8 weeks before it is ready for release.

Cheers,

Getting hold of hand histories is a complete pain and needs looking at.

Having spent an evening playing on the app, I don't really want to have to power up the laptop to request hh via the client. However, it isn't as simple as that as of course hh requested via the client truncate at 200 hands.

So now I have to fire off a manual request to support and wait for the reply.

I would have though that this would be a problem for support as well, and will get worse when zoom comes to the app.

At the very least, we need some way of having hh emailed to us automatically. Perhaps we could have all hands (and tournie histories) emailed automatically and in full daily or weekly?

Is there a way of getting the hands I've played on my iPad onto my HM2 on my laptop so that I can keep an eye on all my stats????

Stars, please incorporate a feature where players can connect to one another via bluetooth or wifi to use at live homegames and also allow a free download of the software containing only this function for countries where online play through the mobile client is not yet available.

If this is already mentioned in the thread then apologies. I haven't been following this thread since I'm in Canada and cannot join in the fun yet.

I believe this feature would be widely used at home games because of less errors in dealing and players would get to play more hands per blind level etc.

Stars would benefit from branding recognition, as well as it just being a conversational aspect. Non-online players at casual home games would be engaged in more discussions about online play on Poker Stars and you could likely convert many users to real money players on your site. Once the the online version is available in the users country the software update becomes available and deposit bonuses are then offered.

I think it would be really useful to be able to set the tables you have have open to be a different colour. For example, when tiling on the desktop client you can keep track of the action on individual tables by keeping track of where they are on the screen. Obviously you can't do this on the app, but if you could have each table set to a different colour you could use that to keep track of the action. It's not too difficult to keep track of the action of a particular hand, but I think it would be a big help in keeping track of table dynamics/individual villains.

I've noticed another little bug - if you manually change tables at exactly the same time as it would of changed automatically, you don't get moved to the table requiring action, however it is highlighted as the active table in the list of tables at the top.

Yeah this is a real issue. Ideally, HHs played on the app would automatically download when you log into the desktop client, just like a normal HH.

Anyone tried to request HH from support by asking them for "all HH i played on day x via app?" does that work or do we have to be more specific?

Please increase the number of hands send in one request, 200 is too low, your support must go mad with requests since the app went life...?!

Yeah, anyone?

Still waiting any kind of dates from stars or any kind of info on where it will be available.

I think this app will work great on Zoom poker.

It makes sense that they will be looking to add zoom to the mobile client since multi tabling must be more difficult on such small screens.

Most likely just a matter of time. Surely once they have announced it, you won't need to post here asking when, the news will find you.

^^ lol np.

History repeats itself though. Look at zoom. Stars only ever released info when they wanted to, and never because somebody asked.
