Thank you for reporting this bug! The developers are looking into this to see what the problem might be.

No. We currently do not have software that runs on Blackberry devices, either phones or tablets. However, if their new devices become very popular, we will seriously consider developing software for them. For now, we are on the sidelines.
We have the exact same position for Windows Mobile today.

If you're in France, go to
http://www.pokerstarsmobile.fr on a mobile device. If you're somewhere else, email
support@pokerstars.com for guidance.

1) ADD REQUEST ALL MOBILE HANDS TO EMAIL.
Cannot believe that it is not possible somewhere to request all hands played on mobile devices to email. I try my best to go and request the hands after a session but there is a bunch missing, especially since you can only request the latest 100 (a half workaround is to request the last x hours which I believe can send you up to 200 hands in an email).
2) ADD WAITINGLIST!
I understand the argument but a bunch of us plays games/stakes that are not spread like NL50 and if you go to flsh 2/4e on pokerstars.es for example then there is often ONE game running and even if you are okay by sitting down by yourself at a new table, you still want to play on the table. Especially if you only can play for like 30 minutes.
3) NOTES OR COLORCODING
Would be nice to be able to colorcode players at least. The note-file from the desktopversion is only 30 kb or so which shouldnt make it all that hard to have it in a cloudsolution. If the amount of data is a problem then make it something for the higher level VIPs at least, I am a platinumstar and would also pay some fpps for this option.
PS; Please add all the features to pokerstars.es (spanish) which is the one I am currently playing at.
Thanks for your suggestions!
1 - There are currently only two options for mobile poker players to retrieve their hand histories:
- Request up to 200 hand histories from the mobile client directly, which will be sent to your registered email address.
- Email
support@pokerstars.com to request your hand histories for the last X hands/days/weeks/months/lifetime. Note that they cannot sort out only the Mobile hands - it's all or nothing.
We are aware of the challenges players have with these methods today, particularly when they want to aggregate hand histories from both desktop and mobile play. We are looking at some options to improve the experience. There's no ETA today for when we will have other options available.
2 - Waiting list is on our development plan.
3 - Sharing player notes cross-platform through some kind of cloud-based solution is something we have been discussing, but we have not yet agreed how to best proceed with this.
As for making all functionality available on pokerstars.es, that is our plan!

Thanks for your positive comments & suggestions. Button location will be improved shortly, and preferred seat will be considered by product team. As for the functionality of sending mobile hands by email, see about 3 comments above.

We have no ETA for this. They are unlikely to appear soon.

Google's policy is that no real money gaming apps are allowed on Google Play, so we have only free-play software available there. If you go to our website (i.e.
http://www.pokerstars.com) on your mobile device, it should be quite straightforward to download and install our RM Android software onto a Nexus 4.

FWIW I have a Samsung GT-5690 series.
Given that the whole mobile hardware industry is moving towards manufacturing devices with ever-higher resolutions, it is highly unlikely we will redesign the Android App to support lower resolutions. It's contrary to the trend, and a significant undertaking.

Anyone know what these "improvements" are and if the upgrade should be done?
The rather-generic "Various improvements and minor bug fixes" is actually quite legitimate, given that there are many small improvements and bug fixes included in this update. It includes improved Run It Twice support, improved iPhone5 support, better menus for Account information, more content in the 'More' section, improved error-handling in various situations, etc. Most of the changes are fairly subtle, and you should expect more substantial content improvements to be seen in the next few months. I wholly recommend the update!
Cheers,
