i doubt stars will give an update on their plans to roll out the app in other countries... my guess it is that its for legal reasons so maybe someone in the legal forum has ideas on this?

Hi All,

ZOOM for Mobile - Yes, we are working on this. But it won't be ready for release for a while. We have a big list of other items which we have prioritized higher in the development queue. Just reading new posts to this thread each day shows that a lot of work is still required on the games we have already released.

Distribution Plans - This isn't something I'm going to provide any details on here in advance, but we will let people know as we release our mobile products in more countries. Our intent is to make them more widely available.

Hand Histories - Improving the accessibility of hand histories is something we are hearing about quite frequently, and we're working on it. For now, please email support@pokerstars.com with these requests.

We really appreciate all the feedback and suggestions. Thanks for taking the time to post them here.

Cheers,

Jeffrey

Ive been playing this on the iPhone 4s and iPad 3rd generation, have passéd this onto support

Some things I would like to see changed.

If I switch to another app or receive a phone call then sometimes when I return to the table I cannot see the cards I have been delt, they are missing. (sent support screen shots)

Need auto top up, manually doing this is a pain especially if you are multi-tabling.

Full cashier, there is no reason why this could not be done.

Hand re-player needed.

Ability to take notes.

Option to have HH automatically emailed

iPad 3

Scaling needs to be fixed, very bad.

Should have option to have 4 tables on screen at once, the screen is big enough and the resolution is high enough.

Otherwise very good job Pstars

Regarding the hand histories I see that Bwin have already released an update that saves all hands locally played on their app. Can something similar be done?

Apple taking 30% of "Sales" might be an issue.

Apple only take 30% of sales not cash transactions.

I use PayPal App on my iPhone and they do not get 30% when I withdraw or send funds to someone. There's no releasing why the same cannot be done for Pokerstars

The website does not accept my Chinese phone number. A Chinese number (at least in Chengdu) has 11 digits plus the country code. When I type in the 11th digit the text box turns red and the I cannot submit the form due to "invalid" phone number.

The iPhone/iPad app is available from the UK and Italian iTunes stores but the Android app can be downloaded from a link that is provided when you provide a mobile phone number, which is not restricted to those 2 countries. However you will not be able to play and can only observe.

Thought I would bump this.

Pstars have released an update for this today.

Scaling issue on iPad is fixed, can request HH email in app, micro stakes filters and various bug fixes.

Still no cashier or store, maybe get those later.

Hope Pstars will also allow table tiling on the iPad in future.

Wow. You're fast! That was about 7 minutes ago. But thanks.

Changes are as per Crathes' post. There are lots of minor bug fixes, with the major feature improvement being the much-requested Hand History function. The filters are also better now, and various tweaks should improve the player experience.

Please post any problems, comments or suggestions here. We read the thread every day.

Thanks and best regards,

No probs, posted as app was updating.

Seriously I could easily fit 4 tables on the iPad screen at one time, please consider tiling.

Also allow notes, with the iPad dictation function this could be great,

Can we also have the ability to play our music when using the app, I tried but the music switches off as soon as an in app sound effect plays.

Hand history request is in line with desktop client now which is good but not great as presumably the 200 hand cap applies also.

For me, it means I have to remember to request every hour or two. As this can be done within the app it is workable but not slick.

Are there plans to develop this further?

This may have been suggested already, but when you search for a person it would be nice to be able to directly open the tables they are playing as you can on the desktop client, rather than it just showing what tournaments they are playing.

This.

Or at the very least tell us what the timing is dependant upon.

Personally, I think they need to add zoom before releasing world wide, as desperate as I am to have it. There is no question in my mind i will waste countless hours playing zoom mobile on my ipad, but probably wouldn't for normal tables
