PokerStars Issues - Is one support@pokerstars.com email address enough?
Guys,
I think it's time this issue is addressed properly. I know I'm not a regular poster, but do read up daily on here about all the issues & problems. Now, as we all know, as far as software goes, Stars are pretty much the market leaders. But the reality is that the smaller sites offer a better level of customer support with their phone lines.
Stars, has one single universal email address 'support@pokerstars.com', sure there are the more specific HR & dad email addresses, but nothing really other than that. The problem with this is that it takes forever to get a response from them, and a lot of the time it's the same old copy and paste bull**** that a monkey could have sent me.
The moderators on their, which you call out for chat violations and other quick fix issues, rarely do their job, a lot of the time I have just seen the same old 'please only call the moderators for chat issues' PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU COULD HAVE CONFUSED MY "Player x said the 'f' word" with "I'm just pressing this button to annoy you from your comfy chair as you daydream your life away"
It's not on, the amount of players this site handles, there should be a more effective support system. I understand the sheer volume of players would require a massive call centre that would cost too much money, but a medium sized one could easily be set up, with hold message's to let us know what's going on. There is nothing worse than having your roll on the line & being left in the dark while you don't know what's going on with your blinds and hands. It's beyond belief how they can get away with this, and it needs to be addressed, it is fairly obvious from all of this evenings post's & I also tracked their very clever yet revealing Player count from the top left of the client:
Time (WET) Players Online
21:40 97'000
21:54 I get back online
22:14 155'000
22:21 190'000
22:30 210'000
So this issue clearly affected over 100'000 players! So it really must be time that we all take the time to email stars about this, how you want to have a new support system created, because the apparant risk's of online poker are two way, whilst your home connection can be an issue, when star's goes down, it affects a lot of people who fall victim to the 'just another connection issue' crap. Please do take your time now, to email them to let them know that this needs to get sorted! If it isn't, and the continued issues take place, there really should be a mass exodus from pokerstars for like, 1 hour or something...I am not looking to get up on some high horse, just please do email them now, we can't just sit here and whine about it, all with the same "yeah connections down here too" posts, it needs to be done!
Cheers

Pokerstars replies to my concerns via email within hours, often within an hour.
Major issues may take slightly longer, but have always been communicated fully back to me, and generally with an outcome with which I agree.

really? lock the thread? Wow...how much are stars paying you?...it's complete BS, sure stars get back, within time sometimes, but when it comes to issues like the one tonight, we rarely get much in return & there have been 6 times where me and my buddies have been locked out from stars cos we transfer $$ to each other, and it has taken weeks to resolve, sending in copies of ID EVERY time it happens, it's really something that needs to be looked at, because it isn't fair on players to have to put up with poor service when it comes to things like this...it really isn't a crusade about the little man vs the high roller's here, I'm just saying it needs to be fixed to make it better for everyone playin there!

oh wow there are actually ******s who call moderators
all this time i thought the stars chat had some kind of automated system to detect foreign language/abuse
i tried refusing to believe that people were lame enough to use the moderator button, but confronted with evidence i can no longer live in denial

lol, i've used it once for a chat issue...when some d-bag was givin it the old n word to me, and my black mate was sat next to me reading the screen....but you know what they're like, u call them for a problem like a connection issue or like a fault issue...and they fob you off with reasons why they're there...it's BS
