Update:

I spoke to someone who is dealing with sorting out the situation, and learned that we are working through our data to identify affected players and to calculate an equitable refund for each case. This is a time-consuming manual process that will take a while to complete, so we apologize for the delay and ask for your patience. We will let you know when we have completed the process and issued all of the refunds due from this incident.

for some reason the desktop shortcut no longer worked and had to download the software again

same here. PS app can be run from installation folder, but shortcut to update dont work.

FYI - We are planning a full system restart this Thursday at 7am ET (12 noon UK). It is planned to take under an hour, but circumstances can sometimes extend or delay it.

This is a normal build-cycle / maintenance restart, in preparation for new client updates over the next few weeks.

Gold and Platinum were treated much better than this, lol. This is standard now unfortunately. Quality staff costs money. It's really scary how much everything has changed at Pokerstars. The "gold" standard has been replaced with tinfoil and plastic wrap. No worries, Keith will make an appearance here shortly, apologise for the oversight. Explain how he thought you were addressed or how super busy or distracted they were saving kittens bla bla and you may even get your refunds. But in the end the root of the two problems continue. The refunds have been completed, and PokerStars Luke posted a description / explanation about it here:

... where he notes that if you haven't received a credit as a result of this mass action and feel you deserve one, please contact Support with as much information as possible.

However, in your specific case, the team tells me you were credited with a refund on June 8th (last Thursday).

Please check your account and let me know whether you might have missed it.

Maybe you can help here since support has sent me a generic identical response to 3 of my queries:

I was playing the 16.50 BB at the time of crash, screenshot of lobby and there was 1203 entries at time of crash with 1100 players remaining. Refund however was based on entry field of 1900+ players. If the site is "frozen" then how is it possible that 700 more players were able to register and thus freeroll a tourney and make a profit. I also find it hard to believe since at time of the crash, the overlay was 12k on the tourney and the allowance of all these extra entries conveniently pretty much squashed the overlay.

I did receive a refund but it was not based on numbers when the site crashed.

Yup refund is there, I've asked a mod to delete the thread, I don't check my transactions and was expecting an e-mail

is this why SNGs are still down?
