Tourneys we were registered and kept running normally will be reimbursed?

Just got paid for the 109 mini super Tuesday as we were in the money when it got cancelled.

How can Stars justify still taking the rake and making $13,000 (more than 3rd place money) from the tournament???

The rake was paid in full.I believe it is specified in that calculation

I stand corrected. The total prizepool displayed in the lobby didn't include the fee.

Even so, they keep the rake from the busted players.

I guess they lose all that back with all the potential overlays in the tournaments that are starting now....

every time I try to play The Deal client crashes

I think that rake should go into the money to be distributed to the players that were still in when it crashed. There is no reason to refund a player who has busted - their experience has not been affected by events that happened after they left.

The current formula has no concept of compensation - you just get something that tries to reflect your equity, with no recognition for the time you have invested, and the stress you went through when trying to work out what's happening. Adding in the busted players rake would be something - and the deeper the tourney when it crashes, the bigger effect it has.

It does feel wrong for Stars to collect any rake when they mess people about like this.

has anybody else been able to get a playing history audit? I requested one but nothing has come through

it's so difficult to see the $ ins and outs in the account, and I want to see what went out for last night's shambles and what has subsequently gone back in

Party are ahead of stars in that respect already - much better visibility of transactions

I was only playing the Hot $7.50 but didn't get a refund. Is this because I was placed outside the money when the site crashed?

I got an audit.I wanted to check if I have been unregistered from sit'n'go's with 1 man needed to start when I got DC'ed.I have been unregistered.

BTW I played a few days ago in PP-they had a 530$ buy-in tourney 20k gtd with 18 people less than 10 mins before the end of late registration.Huge overlay.
What they did-deleted tournament...I got DC'ed then the tourney did not appear anywhere,asked for live support-got a message that live support was gone 1h ago and I will get assistance on the morning.
After that I got only my entry money back.

I dunno how they get away with that sort of stuff - I've contacted the gambling commission about them before after I qualified for a $109 live event that was then cancelled and party expected me to just forget about the buy in. They did the same sort of thing as you describe, where the tourney just disappeared from listings without any comment (although the fact that yours had already started is clearly even worse). Had all kinds of nonsense before I got a refund (in T$, but ok) and not a great deal of support from the regulator either

I thought Stars was better all round but reading some of the comments today I guess maybe not

About the Service Outage Yesterday

Thanks to everyone for posting about the problem we experienced yesterday with our service. Service was restored within a couple of hours.

We apologize for the disruption and are analyzing our data to identify affected players and determine compensation due. You do not have to email Support, as all affected players will be compensated whether or not they contact us, but please be patient as it may take a week or more for us to process all of the cases.

try this:

Open the Pokerstars main lobby
Click on 'Help' then 'Open My Settings Folder'. You will see the folder open.
Close the PokerStars software (keeping the settings folder open)
Find the user.ini (or can be called user) right click on it and select edit and open the file with notepad.
Press Ctrl+f and search for [OpenGl] then change the setting to openGlSetting=1. Finally select file and save.
Now login back in to the software and retry playing the deal. You should have no further issues.

CS sent me a ini file to replace current file in that folder which I tried swapping their file in setting.
Still crashed. Uninstalled PS from remove programs and then re-installed PS. Still crashing, when I have to select the 2 cards to discard(crashes when I select first card)

Playing more than 1 hand it does not crash.

So I entered a spin and go and before I could play my first hand it crashed on the 14th allowing one player to win or blinds till the end. Still no refund. Had anyone else been credited? Any time frame?

I know that Support analyzed MTTs that were affected by last week's outage and they have already distributed compensation for the players involved, but I'm not sure about Spins so you should contact Support directly to ask them to look into your case.

You're suppose to be a "professional" so before you come here spewing more generic rhetoric we see every 3 days over and over endlessly now, find out if those players you desperately marketed too to try and "grow" the game and present the upswing to merge with will hill (thank god they werent stupid) you shoild find out how much money was screwed off these players.
