Much like in this case. These individuals are quite obviously botting and Stars could certainly prove it if they really desired to do so. But they don't seem to have that desire much anymore. They'll just keep collecting rake until there's enough of an outcry when eventually they'll get around to banning them. And these are only the obvious botters. There are certainly hundreds if not thousands of others who aren't dumb enough to put in 4million hands playing 10-17 hours a day every single day on a single account. But unfortunately we'll never know about those bots and they'll certainly never be banned by Stars at least not until Stars changes its recent attitude towards bots.
That is a shame then as well. Their number one priority should be providing a fair gaming environment and taking EVERY STEP possible to maintain the integrity of the game.
I have always been of the opinion though that if you are going to play online, it should be at FTP or PS...I will always feel more secure there than some of the smaller sites that are out there.
The thought that the sites do not care so much as long as they are getting their rake and that they will not go out of their way to take action, until a large percentage of the player pool start to take notice/action or complain, is very sick to even think about, although I am not doubting this claim, it seems plausible for sure.
Sad.
