All funds confiscated and... stolen by pokerstars ? I mean that large balance in your pokerstars account I assume was not from deposits made but from transfers from horse's profits . Now if they have decided you are responsible for cheating in some way then who did you cheat ? Us , the mtt regs (and recs) who played against you in the tournaments where you cheated . So when should we expect our refunds ? Anyone trust a pokersite to distribute money back to players who were cheated rather than just keeping it for themselves ?

They can, if you break their TOS since it's sort of a contract by itself. That's a pretty normal practice in all sorts of businesses. For example, if you go to some band's concert and start acting like a douchebag, they can toss your ass out without any refunds.

Yes but the money in OP account was prob obtained from horses profits from tourneys (I'm assuming most of it is profits from the tables and not deposits). That money came from other players accounts . Ok say the winner of the 100k highroller won $2mil or w/e and then was found to be cheating . Stars can't then just confiscate the money in his account because it all comes from other players contributing to the tourney prizepool . I mean obviously this wouldn't happen and the money would be distributed amongst the 2nd 3rd 4th place finishers etc
But if that money came in small amounts from many many tournaments over a period of time well I can imagine stars just saying ok nice free money

Thanks for clarifying. Yeah, that's an interesting conspiracy theory, but I doubt it's true. I think there has to be some sort of internal or external audit preventing PokerStars from straight up stealing like that.

.fr funds are not confiscated bc french law doesnt allow that.
