Hello,

So my account has recently been under routine investigation and i am not allowed to play or access the cashier after I came 6th in the $11 SCOOP event and attempted to cash out. Another friend of mine has previously played on my account before as we live in the same house and Pokerstars has frozen his account and a few of my other friends due to suspicion that he shares accounts. I just sent in my ID and Bank statement for verification and can confirm that it was me playing the tournament and now scared that they will confiscate the funds due to suspicion that it was my friend playing on my account. Will pokerstars suspend the funds or will they just ask you to confirm that there was no breach of integrity. I don't want them to think that another person was playing on my account how do i make sure that my funds will not be suspended?

Thank you

Well admitting breaking TOS here "Another friend of mine has previously played on my account before as we live in the same house" is probably not a great place to start...

Yes but that was previously, i read the TOS and it doesn't state that i'm in risk of having my funds seized, but is it possible? I did not play unfairly or collude or switch accounts so what can I do?

You cant do anything. You broke the tos and stars can seize the funds if they want to. How do you prove it was you playing the game when you have allready admitted letting other players to use your account?

you let someone play on your screen name or he played in your house on his own account?

I sense we arent getting the full story.

You first state your friend played on your account. Then he used his credit card to deposit on your account... where he could have deposited in his account and transferred funds to you.

Not calling you a liar, just that there appears to be more than your telling us. And any suspicious activity is flagged by PS to protect you and rest of the site.

My friends account was frozen due to suspicious activity involving a few other friends previously, he is my sisters boyfriend and cause i don't have a credit card, he allowed me to use his as we are in the same household.

That is the problem there. Your sister's bf is flagged due to suspicious activity, when his cc was used it linked you to his activity. You are guilty by association... but if you knew his account was suspended why use his cc? Why was his acct suspended? You know there are other ways to get funds onto your accts without using a suspended player's credit card... skrill, neteller, bank wire, paysafe, etc

His account was frozen because stars thought he was colluding with others, but he was cleared of everything, nothing illegal.

Get some new friends and a new hobby. Maybe a new sister too.

In the meantime, just be honest and patient with Stars support. I wouldn't get too hopeful though, unless you've got video footage of you playing the event completely alone. It sounds like they are unlikely to give you the money due to your close association with someone they already banned/suspended.

Maybe, although I think they'll ask you and not me.
