Hi Everyone,

I am PokerAce_John and I am your PokerAce representative on 2+2.
I am glad to make myself available to the 2+2 community. I’m looking forward gathering your feedbacks, answering your questions and giving you regular updates on the PokerAce poker room, its promotions and new features.

PokerAce.com is a new online poker room that officially launched last weekend on Saturday August 18th . We are focusing on the Asian region but also accepting all players located in a non-regulated territory.
PokerAce has its own poker software that doesn’t require any download and offers its network services to some of the biggest and most reputable Asian bookmakers.

PokerAce offers Hold’em(Limit/No Limit/Pot Limit) and 13 Cards Poker(Chinese Poker). Tournaments, Sit’n’Gos and Ring Games are currently available.
Others games and new software features are under development and will be released in a very near future.

On your first real money deposit, you will be entitled to a 200% Deposit Bonus up to $2500. You will then become a member of our loyalty program, the AceClub, and take advantage of very competitive cash rewards based on your activity.
We are also offering many Freerolls every day: The Daily Freerolls and The Gold Rush Freerolls. For further information regarding PokerAce promotions, please refer to the PokerAce.com promotions page.

Some of you might already have questions so please feel free to post them in this thread. I will make sure to answer you on an often basis.

Hi John. Can you give me a quick rundown on the mtt's (nle) you will be running?
Buyins ranging from?
The Guaranteed Prizepools?
Rebuys, freezeouts, turbos?

I understand if that is too much information to post here, so if it is, can you just tell me the bigger Guaranteed tournaments that will be running?

Thanks very much.

Hi, I know the room is new, but what are the traffic stats like so far? I can't find anything about this on scout or elsewhere.

Cheers

From the FAQ:

"How many tables can I play at the same time?

You are allowed to play on 4 tables at the same time. You may play any mix of cash tables and tournaments."

Is this a hard limit or can it be upped on request?

Probably doesn't make too much difference until traffic grows a bit though

The two are mutual exclusive IMO.

Anyway, the US is listed as an excluded country on the ts and cs.

9.10. You are not a resident of the United States of America or its territories, Philippines, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Israel, Antigua and Barbuda, Netherlands, Antilles, Estonia, or Cyprus and shall immediately cease from using the Website and/or the Poker Room and/or the Software in the event that the country where you live is included in the list of Excluded Territories. This license to use is not available in the Excluded Territories, as may be updated by applicable laws from time to time.

I also found this provision to be funny

9.9. You are not classified as a compulsive gambler.
Where does the value come from then? Plus, when how and why would they enforce this rule?

Maybe they meant 'Netherlands Antilles', we'll see. Is Holland a regulated poker market (like France, Italy, Spain)?

Hi All,

Please find my answers to your first questions below:

1. Can you give me a quick rundown on the mtt's (nle) you will be running?Buy-ins ranging from?
MTT buy-ins start from $0.50 and go up to $320. This is a first schedule that might be updated quite often in the first months depending on the traffic variations and players feedbacks.
The Guaranteed Prizepools?
As PokerAce have just been launched, the room traffic is still low so there is no guarantee offered yet but this is definitely something we plan to set as soon as it's possible.
Rebuys, freezeouts, turbos?
We are offering Freezeouts, Rebuys as well as Lottery tournaments. Other tournament types like Knockouts or Double Chance are under developpment.
Regarding the Structures, we are offering Regular, Turbos, X-Turbos(Super Turbo Equivalent), Deep stack, Super Deepstack tournaments as structures.

2. Rake details please
Regarding cash-game, we are offering CNY and USD tables. They have similar rake structures.
We are also offering different kind of rake structures depending on the type of tables played P, M or S. See description for each type of tables below.

For more details about the rake structure for both tables, please refer to the following rake page on PokerAce.com

3. What does player type M/P/S mean?
P – These tables are reserved for PokerAce customers and a standard rake structure applies.
S – These tables are reserved for Sportsbook customers from our Partner networks. Only sports book customers see these tables in the lobby.
M – These tables are Mixed and are available to both PokerAce and Sportsbook customers. These tables have a slightly different rake structure.

4. What are the traffic stats like so far?
Low as we just launched the site and most of our partners players migration have not been done yet. Stats are not tracked by PokerScout so far. There are between 20 and 80 players online since last Saturday. This will rise with the different partners migrations as well as marketing & PR campaigns incoming.

5. Is our money safe with you?
Players Funds Safety is the first priority for us in order to ensure PokerAce is trustworthy and has a bright future ahead. PokerAce stakeholders have many years’ experience developing businesses in this industry and know how important it is to offer financial services that are 100% secure. Experts have been recruited for this matter in payments, fraud, collusion and security in order to offer secure payments but also a fair game for all customers.

6. What network are you on?
PokerAce poker room is part of the PokerAce network. We have our own poker room part of our our own network using our own developped software. We offer the software to our licensee and they also offer the PokerAce brand to their customers. It’s one brand for all.

7. Are U.S. players accepted?
No.
All territories under regulation/incoming regulation are excluded from the PokerAce network. Ips coming from those countries are blocked.
We are aiming to belong and make our online poker services available in the long run and this is why we are committed to respect regulations excluding players from those territories.

Blocked territories:the United States of America or its territories, Philippines, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Israel, Antigua and Barbuda, Netherlands, Antilles, Estonia, or Cyprus, France, Denmark, Italy and Spain.

8. How many tables can I play at the same time?
4 Tables maximum overall. We might make it 4 tables maximum for cash-games but unlimited for tournaments. This is to protect our more occasional players coming from our sports book licensees.

9. 'You are not classified as a compulsive gambler'.Where does the value come from then?
Gamblers that are not compulsive . This is more a responsible gaming warning.

10. No Dutch?
No. The Netherlands is part of the excluded territories.

11. Is this the site they were talking about on the pokercast?
Absolutely. It is the site Tom Hall is talking about in the Two Plus Two podcast Episode 234.

Thank you for your interest in PokerAce,
John

Are there any plans to also implement € tables? And am I right to assume that you have to pick one or the other as currency for your account? If so, what exchange rate provider do you use in real time if players buy into tables with the other currency?

Last but not least, do you offer Rakeback to your players?

Why should we join pokerace and not just sign up with a sportsbook, as they have their 'own' tables??

You say you are Asian facing yet you are promoting on 2+2. I guess players funds aren't segregated else you would of said it by now. And you can't play with the fish unless you want to pay redic high rake.

Also you might want to think of a better bonus structure...expecting people to deposit $1250 on a brand new site is stretching it a bit! maybe 500% bonus
