Yospazz's grandson Kayleb. He is 7 years old and very ill, he was born with cerebral palsy, global developmental delay and chronic liver disease. We have recently been told in the best interest of Kayleb a liver transplant is NOT an option. BUT an end of life plan has been advised ! There was a charity tournament set up at PD for Kayleb. Fran and Al Spath each put up $50 for the $100 payout. All buy ins, rebuys and add ons were to go to Kayleb. I believe the total came to around $250....which has never been sent to Kayleb.

The money raised was to help the family make the trip to FL from the UK. I personally sent a gift via PayPal to help out. It's just a sorry state of affairs!

It has been a journey trying to find a way to keep players funds safe and recovered. I wish people would understand the circumstances of why i was unable to continue with this site. Frankly i ran out of money. Yes i paid as many as i could and invested every dime into this. I emptied all my accounts in hopes to keep this project running. I made some crucial mistakes ( don't we all). I took good and bad advice. I ran to many freerolls, to many GTD's, charged 2% rake at the start of the site. I was losing money day in and day out. Some of you probably think i am at some ocean side enjoying your monies. Some might think i pocketed the money. I absolutely never did that at all. Every dime went into the site. I tried so hard to find investors without success. I have nothing to hide or hiding from anyone. You have no idea how hard i am trying on a daily basis to find a new owner for the site. I want peace of mind to. I feel broken into pieces of what has happened. There is 1 goal in my mind and its to make sure everyone has a fair shot to get your hard earned money. My financial situation is beyond bad! I can't even afford my own bills. This site brought problems to my family as well. I lost my savings trying to keep this alive. I will be upfront with everyone. I don't expect anyone to understand me anyways. You might think im the bad guy here. But i am trying to recover and get you paid. The idea is not to keep freedom-poker running where i make money from it. The new owner is going to take control of everything. I would never be involved in this venture again.

I now am pleased to say i have 3 potential operators of which whoever completes the deal first will take it. All of which will honor the balances and continue the site. It might not be freedompoker and we might have to do a rebrand for them, but this is good news for everyone. Your funds will be safe with the Owners. They have resources to build this site and continue this project. I can't mention there names yet, but some of them are recognized poker professionals and WSOP bracelet winners.

The first one to complete the deal within this weekend will have the site. We are all on a limited time-frame to get the server paid and keep on moving. I can almost assure there is a 99% chance this is a go.

I'd like to mention that I was in talks with Fran to bail out the site. Sadly there wasn't enough time to evaluate the entire situation and audit the accounts prior to the server cut-off time and the people involved were not willing to pay the owed hosting fees on good faith and then take it from there.

The software itself is good and Fran's asking price + the total in owed player balances (given by Fran) plus hosting fees is not a bad offer for anyone or a group of people that believes they could spin a poker room. The monthly maintenance isn't to high to operate a small sized and profitable bitcoin room.

I'd recommend for anyone looking to buy the entire setup to get in touch with him to discuss a deal. It just wasn't a viable option for us.

I wonder if those same personalities had anything to do with the site's failing under his leadership . . .
