Question Poker Dominicano/Freedom Poker thread

... so with it hidden in the last pages of the LTE thread ( http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...hread-1168616/ ). Is it okay to make a separate thread about Poker Dominicano? I just don't see how it can gain interest hidden in a (nearly) dead thread. If I've broken any rules mod. please delete.

"Good afternoon everyone! I know alot of players have been waiting for a response to the status of their funds. As many know the previous investors in LTE had bailed out and i ended up with the control of the Software. Since that time i have been working on finding some partners. Until recently i finally found a client who decided to give the gaming business a shot. Together we will be working on starting from Scratch and making sure players get paid in a timely fashion. We all know that our software is extremely good and the potential is there. Please review the questions below.

1: Are you affiliated with any network?
Absolutely Not! 100% Standalone.'

2o you accept US Players?
Selectively!

3:What about my Previous Balance?
Though we have control of the system, we were not successful in recovering the database of all the players. I do know that only about 10 players are owed money from LTE. This balance will be added to your new account.

4:Can i withdraw earnings right after creating a new account?
Actually no. The balance was owed by the Old LTE owners and we don't want to reconcile that debt. With this being said i was able to reach a agreement based on the previous balances. Since this is a brand new start up website, the traffic is Low. Therefor we are looking for prop players to get the ball rolling. If you would like to become a prop player you will be entitled to 85% Rake Back paid out every 2 weeks. Your previous LTE Balance will be used as your starting Bank Roll.

The first step is to register at http://www.pokerdominicano.com

After your registration please send a email to support@pokerdominicano.com with your Previous LTE Username and Balance. We will credit the funds right away.

This is the first step towards getting back on track. "

Re: Unofficial Poker Dominicano thread

right now it's mostly of the freerolls and tournaments (cash games are few and far between). I'm not sure what their plans are as far as getting the word around. Maybe a thread like this is a start?

I usually find that any decent game is going to run after like 6pm et.. usually even later in to the evening. Getting a hu game going is pretty easy ime, but anything more than that is a huge pain.

Re: Unofficial Poker Dominicano thread

This email i got today probably went out to all players so that may help

Quote:
We miss you at Poker Dominicano! We need your full support on the tables. In order for players to gain trust and play with us we need more active players on the tables.

We want all players to be happy and enjoy playing with us. Let's get the cash tables running this week.

Just a Note* Remember that the easiest way to free up 500 VIP points is by playing on the Cash tables. If you play only freerolls and tournaments, it will take alot longer to generate those points.

We are also please to announce that We are Accepting all USA Players at Poker dominicano with easy & fast deposit options.

Will you keep us Alive? Will you show your support? See you at the tables.

Re: Unofficial Poker Dominicano thread

I got the same email as well. I also got another email concerning deposits/withdrawals processes but think posting that info in the thread my be a bad idea. If you didn't get it, I would email support@pokerdominicano.com. I sounds like they may be trying to get the ball rolling in the US market (or ANY market )

Yep, they have not learned from their mistakes. So they really think they can handle all the consequences that come along with accepting players from the US? Sounds somewhat desperate if I may say so ...

Re: Unofficial Poker Dominicano thread

Sending a mail to the few players who already play from time to time wont help much.

Dominicana needs to advertise!
Getting a new business started costs money; every businessman knows that.

When I browse the website, I never found any exact info of how to release a first deposit bonus. (and besides, with traffic that low at the moment I doubt any bonus could be released in a certain period of time)
Give depositers instead 20% of their deposit upfront, like it was at LTE. Iím sure this will lead to some deposits.
Get rid of those 10 bucks freerolls. Take the money and start a rake race.

Just a few thoughts to get more players to the tables.

+1 , seems like they have taken action on this already

I would also recommend setting a rakeback structure based on what VIP level you are. Such as bronze 20% , silver 30% , gold 40% ect. or however youd like it to be structured. Then have the rakeback paid out weekly or monthly to everyone so they know what rakeback they receive and when they expect to receive it.

Having the lowest rake online + high RB deals = road to failure

I would be happy to see the rake increase to match Stars providing there was a structured VIP program.

Ive emailed twice to ask if my account receives rakeback and when does it get paid but ive had no response.

Re: Unofficial Poker Dominicano thread

do you just email support for rakeback after creating an account or is there another place to get rakeback?
