Alobar I'd highly recommend it.

I used to run a setup exactly like what you are using now and the difference is enormous. If you put in any kind of volume at all the investment in the better monitors is a drop in the bucket and will also just make you happier in the long run because your computer is so ridiculous and you use it a lot every day.

If you're feeling extra baller you could ship for the keyboard which nobody has seemed to even notice yet. Google Optimus Maximus and just imagine the possibilities with table ninja. I've had the keyboard for about 2 years now and being able to customize every key adds another level of ease to multitabling.

I haven't type in a web address in a long time since each of my F1-F12 keys is a shortcut for commonly visited web pages not to mention all of my poker apps are opened with the single touch of a key.

I'm sure a lot of people would find it hard to justify spending what Optimus costs on a peripheral so I'll just say that it's probably the best purchase I've ever made and leave it at that.

One word. Neck pain.

Seriously that set up is not very ergonomic. Your neck angle is wrong, keyb/mouse position is terrible. I had that Vertical Mouse for a while.

Word of caution: don't throw that vertical mouse around, it won't take a lot of throwing around like Logitechs do.

Yeah like I said, the keyboard certainly isn't for everyone. I paid $1600 for mine two years ago though so it must've gone up in price which is pretty nuts since it's already a huge price tag.

And car pool tunnel in the wrist.

Claw mouse grip + extremely high DPI = no wrist pain. If you are moving your arm and wrist around, then major mouse usage fail.

I always thought carpal tunnel might be a real issue but like I said I've been 24 tabling for about 4 years now and have no pain whatsoever. I turn the mouse speed way up so actual hand movement is minimal.

how do you rotate the dell 30"? i have one in landscape and it tilts and swivels but i don't see how you get it to portrait...

unscrew it from the stand on the back of the monitor and then screw it back in portrait style and change the settings when you boot up. It will be leaning backwards slightly but still overall it's much better for multitabling than using Landscape.

downgoesdown - TY Where have you been I haven't seen you at 200 lately?

Not to dis on your keyboard, but you know Firefox can use keywords for sites right? Like I have "t" for 2+2. So ctrl+l (to get to the URL field), then t = instant 2+2. You can even keyword search fields, so "i oldboy" searches for "oldboy" in imdb's search field.

Not that a fully customizable keyboard isn't useful anyway though of course.

ETA: lifetime graph plz

uhh, if that's all it does you could have learned a little simple AHK coding and saved $1500.

You can crack on me all you want for spending that kind of money on a keyboard. Bottom line is that I would honestly say it's the best piece of computer equipment I've ever purchased and as this thread should suggest, I buy heavily in this department. The keyboard obviously does more than I've said but I'll leave that to those who feel like ponying up the dough to figure out. Can't give away all of my secrets now can I?

As far as a lifetime graph I really don't have one since I've used multiple computers and purged my DB a few times as well. Suffice to say I've been making a living from poker for quite a while now.

On the high side 43k in rb isn't bad but for 2mill hands? They count that rb on the high side too so I'm wondering what your hourly is on a setup like this, compared to the roll it takes to almost break even....?

You have quite the energy and dedication Ill give you that. I can't believe you still can see or even function let alone not have committed a homicide or suicide thorough those 2 mill hands. LOL unfukinreal man lol

I cant even imagine the levels of burnout long term hardcore rb multi-tabler's go through.
So 2BB/100 is break even now?

Sweet keyboard TL.

ty, at least someone respects

BTW guys just a little spoiler...

I'm getting married tomorrow and it's going to be a PokerStars themed/sponsored wedding which will be featured in their blog and magazine and hopefully News tab on the site.

Been about a year and a half in the making with tons of extra planning involved to incorporate Stars. So keep an eye out for me on the blog and after that I'll be jetting off to Hawaii for two weeks with my gorgeous wife-to-be. It's hard to believe it's only a day away and I'm so excited I had to share.

Keep an eye out and wish me luck!
