Just got an email from one of the skins of the Entraction network (now named IGT Poker) that starting March 1 the rake in all sngs will be lowered to 5%. Email was in Swedish but translates to this:

"Starting March 1 the fees in all SnGs will be cut in half. Instead of the inudstry standard of 10% we will only take 5% going forward".

I dont know if this is permenent or a promo but they didnt say anything about time and the wording makes it sounds like its permanent. Good news and hope more sites follow.

Following the industry standards with the purpose of reducing negative effect on short stacking players IGT Poker will increase minimum buy-in on all NL and PL tables for games where blinds used to be 30bb.
This will affect Hold'em, Omaha High, Omaha H/L, Omaha 5C High, Omaha 5C H/L, 5-Draw and 32-Draw.
Example: on a Hold'em NL table with blinds €0,5/1 the old minimum buy-in was €20 and the new will be €30.

Registration fee for Sit&Go tournaments will be decreased.
From 1st of March it would be 5% on top of the buy-in (previously it could be up to 10%, with average about 8%).
Example: Sit&Go tournament with buy-in €10+1 will be changed to €10+0,5.

Rake cap on high limit tables will be increased.
The rake cap will be increased on NL, PL, 1/2PL and FL for tables with blinds €10/20 and more.

New Rake Definition:

No Limit, Pot Limit, ½Pot Limit and Fixed Limit for €5/10 and below:
€0.01 in rake for each €0.20 in the pot and capped at €0.75 for 2 players seated, €2.00 for 3 players and €3.00 for 4-10 players. For pots between €0.20 and €0.39 the rake is €0.02.

No Limit, Pot Limit, ½Pot Limit and Fixed Limit for €10/20 and upwards:
€0.01 in rake for each €0.20 in the pot and capped at €1.50 for 2 players seated, €3.00 for 3 players and €4.00 for 4-10 players.

Good and about time a network did this. "industry standard" on cash games is around 5% so it should be the same for sng's mtt's etc.

Do SNGs run on IGT, what are the games like and what is there blind structure?

I had a look for my last question on 24H poker website with no luck.

Hi,

I grind the super turbos there and would love to connect to some of the other players on the www.entractionpromo.com leaderboard for mid stakes.

There has always been traffic on Entraction but only on the super turbos. The leader in the SNG promo has already played 2.5k tourneys (€10 stakes only). I think that's enough traffic.

A good deal from one of the skins plus reduced fee plus the Most Played SNG promo = money for me...

Yeah, had a look. Terrible lobby and almost only superturbos. Im a turboplayer with around 10 ROI on the 5$ level. I hate hugh swings so i dont know if superturbos is for me. Looked at the leaderboard, some crazy players there.

You just need a lot more volume. It all comes to the same.

I was also a 15% roi on normals on FT and then I switched to this super turbos. Before I played around 30-40 normals and now I have to play at least 90-100 super turbos to even out the variance.

It's just that with a good deal and a 5% fee and the leaderboard you can really pump up your winnings

cash games stayed the same to mid stakes... only higher stakes above NL2000 went up in HU and ring games.

I don't know how it is on Stars but these aren't hyper turbos. its 1250 chips starting with 2 min blinds. The blinds increase a bit more vertically than on stars so its a mixture of everything.

I find them quite playable.
