Just a quick update on this, I never ended up receiving the bitcoins because the sender (Dalsue214) sent from blockchain with a tiny fee. The fee now a days is supposed to be around $1 for every $1000. He however sent two transactions at once so there was my $450 and someone else's $5k.

The fee he sent was $0.36 for $5.5k. The transaction is most likely going to disappear off the blockchain in a few days so I'll keep everyone updated. It just sucks that I have to wait.

Also, this isn't his fault, just thought I'd keep the trade updated.

Doing a $250 now, the transactions still stuck so he's going to send with a higher fee this time.

Apparently after sending the first two transactions, the fee quoted by Blockchain was not big enough to suffice a quick confirm and the Blockchain quickly got backed up.

1st $500 xfer now has a confirmation
2nd $500 xfer we hope confirms sometime tonight
3rd $250 xfer has confirmed
4th $750 xfer has confirmed
