He would get money on AP because you can cashout by Moneygram and get cash, maybe his Cake money was deposited fraudulently, I have never played on Cake so I am not familiar with their deposit options, but it is fairly easy to get fraudulent funds on some other sites.

Let's change this section of the forum for the better. Instead of just allowing all the scammers to re-establish themselves as another person so they can scam again, let's just make this a password protected section with a separate password from the main one. In order to receive the password, the mods could make each prospective trader give each username on all the poker sites they want to trade on and might want to trade on. Also, make each prospective password recipient give their name, address, and phone number. Then have a mod or elect someone like romanwarrior to call each person personally on the phone to verify they do indeed answer on that phone number.

Scamming is getting so ridiculous, I think something like that needs to be done.

Unfortunately, i think this would create an atmosphere of over-trust. People will think that just because 2+2 has "allowed" a person in, that means you can trust them. Then when someone gets ripped off, they scream at 2+2. What can 2+2 do? Nothing. They can't enforce any honest trading. All they can do is ban people.

Let's say someone rips you off for $100, or even $1000. Say you know their address and phone number. What are you going to do? There's little you can do. You want to file a lawsuit? You have to go to their locale. You can't win that lawsuit because it's your word against theirs. It's a no-win situation.

Or people could just not be drooling ******s.
